Creatio is well suited in following scenarios: Complex Business process modelling and automation, Low code No code development which is best for efficient timelines, customized reporting and dashboarding, seamless integration with other technologies. Scenarios where Creatio is less appropriate: Solutions which require high cutomizations on the frontend side as this can be done by javascript modifications but it increases the load on the page and slows it down.

Creatio and their partners provided an excellent solution to

our need for a customizable, low-code, application building platform. We have transitioned several old legacy

applications built in Access with VBA to their platform and are very satisfied

with the results. We needed a system for case management that track cases with a lot of detailed information while being user friendly and flexible to changes and new workflows. As a non-profit company, we needed to avoid expensive development by programmers, and have embraced the concept of citizen developers using no-code functionality provided by Creatio.

Pros

  • I think the best part about Creatio is the empowerment of what they call "citizen developers" to build and maintain the system without using programming languages.
  • Creatio is actively developing new features to make the system more powerful, but also easier to use.
  • The access rights and roles built into Creatio allow for multiple departments to use Creatio in very different ways without overlapping. The makes each department feel like they system built just for their processes and procedures.

Cons

  • When we started using Creatio in 2022 the new user interface had just been released and did not include all the features we needed; however, we used a more classic user interface and were still satisfied with the results.
  • The ability to capture a digital signature directly within the application was missing in the base system; however, Creatio connected us with a partner that provided a solution for this specific situation.

The out-of-the box functionality is fairly basic, but the ability to customize the workflows through business process and business rules allows for complexity.

Creatio is a no-code platform. It allows workflow automation, process management and CRM (customer relationship management). Customization based on an organization requirement is easily implemented. With Creatio you can automate business tasks, implement rules, and develop third party integrations. We have our legacy source systems that integrate with Creatio during a batch process. This process allows for excellent external customer engagement and traceability. Creatio supports ongoing collaboration among staff assignments or handoffs regarding Customer requests and completions. This documented handoff/traceability allows a company to continue to excel in customer service.

Further, the tool has a dashboard module for management reporting. There are many variables on the reporting capability provided as part of the native package, but you can easily customize the dashboard to your organization’s unique requirements.

The Creatio native package is adaptable, the product allows any customer to implement customization. Example, the template generation. The product package has templates that can be used or can be configured to meet customization requirements.

Another notable feature is the support for function and role. Organizations can create specific roles based on the function and responsibilities of the employee.

Creatio's CRM platform is great for order, lead, and account management. The system has given our sales and customer service teams more time to focus on their respective tasks and less time on organization.

Creatio has a wide variety of different reporting tools that work very well. However, they do have limitations. That being said, the R&D team is hard at work every time to further develop these tools.

In our organization Creatio serves as a versatile information hub, it allows us to centralize and facilitate communication across various departments and business processes. This centralization allows us to create a better "top-down-view" for our management teams in addition to standardizing processes across our company. The flexibility of the platform itself allows us to be very agile when it comes to addressing the ever changing needs of each of these departments in a modern, technology first, business environment. It has been integrated into regular operational activities from the ground up - from technician to invoicing, sales to offboarding: we use it to manage the entire client lifecycle and many of the processes that occur throughout.

Creatio is a great platform for small teams that need to be able to implement and manage big software solutions to complex business requirements. The ease of custom development can't be oversold - you can take a new application from the drawing board to the production environment so quickly its unreal!

In 2019/2020 we were looking for an CDP/CRM solution that would also help us out with the many business process that we have. We are a small not-for-profit company so recources (people, time and money) are limited. During this process we came across Creatio and everything we wanted was (and is) possible. We save a lot of time with the automation of business processes, marketing e-mails and our website & members-only-website are also connected to Creatio. So we don't have to put the same text in 3 different systemes: no they communicate with eachother, so if we put it in Creatio, it also appears on our website and members-only-website. Also we have more business insights now thanks to the dashboarding section which we use to visualize the data that we have and give our team the insights they need to grow the business so we can do more for the marketing, sales and communication community in the Netherlands. We are happy Creatio users since 2021 and we are very pleased with the Creatio team: they are quick with responding and always happy to help.

In my experience, doesn't matter how big or small your company is. You do need a few tech/it people in your company to make it work for the long run. It's great for companies with a lot of different business processes like us and who demand a high flexiblity of a CDP/CRM.

Landmark Cinemas uses Creatio for our Sales team as a CRM. Creatio has proven to be very customizable for our unique workflows and business cases. By automating business processes, we have eliminated a large portion of our administrative tasks and can better focus on building and nurturing client relationships. The low-code structure allows for quick and easy changes without programming knowledge or experience.

  • Some documentation in the Creatio Academy is outdated or could benefit from video examples.

Changing CRMs can be a very daunting proposition. Creatio's Support and Customer Success teams have been nothing short of fantastic as we recently navigated this change. The regular check-ins helped ensure we had the tools we needed to be successful. I do not have any programming background or experience. Creatio's low-code design has allowed me to implement the majority of changes very easily without additional third-party consultants. Some of the resource documents have not been updated to current versions of the software and/or would benefit from 'How to' videos for the novice user/administrator.

We used Creatio to manage all our marketing and sales activities, from lead generation to contract conclusion. Creatio is also our reference tool for our service desk and customer ticket tracking. Other needs, such as time-tracking and management of some projects, are also done with Creatio. Creatio has become a reference tool for our company, and more needs are being addressed thanks to its low-code/no-code capabilities.

  • Documentation could sometimes be more intuitive
  • Lots of third-party applications, so frustrating when only the connector you need is missing
  • The possibilities are very large, so it is difficult to properly channel resources and needs within the company regarding this platform

Likelihood to Recommend

Creatio's low-code/no-code capabilities make it possible to gain autonomy and efficiency. Projects that used to take months are now completed in weeks or even days. The marketing tools are impressive, as well as the way Creatio offers a global approach, from initial lead generation to customer support and the entire sales process.

As a low-code platform, Creatio offers great freedom to users. Low-code means great opportunities and acceleration for creating new features and applications, but it doesn't mean that you can create anything in a snap, which can be frustrating.

In the other direction, Creatio is not indicated if you want a "basic" direct mailing solution, allowing only to manage mass mailings. It performs this task very well, but its capabilities are so extensive, it is a pity to restrict itself to that.

We started using Creatio as a sales tool in our business; however, it is now being used for other areas of our business. We use it for marketing plans and budgets and also run our Quality Management System on it, which we are audited on. We have found it so useful that we are also now setting up the service side so our operations team can also use it.

Contracts are a big part of our business, and being able to create tracking and dashboards for this has made our contracts process so much smoother. Also, being able to integrate docu-sign means you can do everything through the system, rather than having to go back and forth and duplicate things.
