Cvent Event Management is a crucial part of webinar event planning. Since I have started my professional career, I have utilized Cvent across companies and haven’t had a bad experience whatsoever. The ease of use and ability to send invites through the platform is amazing! It’s an all in one event planning software.

Cvent Event Management is great for when we host client round tables, as well as broad webinars for the entire customer base. It has been consistent and easy to use not only for us but for our customers too.

We use Event Management for our Gala dinner and also our annual conference. We have many different registration types and needed a system to coordinate the different messages to each type, collect payment, and provide a mobile app. After using the system, we expanded to use the Abstract collection, on arrival, Diagraming, and considering more!

Likelihood to Recommend

The system is great for registering for your event, including session add-ons, taxes, and more. It can manage different access and visibility to different sessions or prices based on the reg type. For smaller events, it is just too pricey and does not make sense to use.

We use Cvent Event Management to manage our events, they have been getting very complex and with the tools that Cvent Event Management offers we have been able to manage it properly, we don't always have the perfect answer but with so many available tools we always find a work around or a way to deliver them in the best possible way, when it comes to registrations, on-site check in and integrations Cvent Event Management has been a huge help!

Badge printing and managing on-site check-in, changes etc is great! Registration forms are also very complete and can work with advanced logic for visibility criteria. Emails are great, easy to manage and filter and also easy to create templates with data tags. Another great feature is the reporting which is super easy and thorough

We use Cvent Event Management differently for various events. For our smaller in-person events (less than 50 people), we use it simply as a registration tool. For our large conference (500+ people), we use it for registration, event website creation, conference app development, reporting, badge creation and printing and many other features. Cvent Event Management offers a wide range of features that we found lacking in other options we reviewed and is consistently upgrading options to meet the needs and feedback of its customers.

Well suited - This product is great for a large conference where a lot of functionality is needed such as reporting features and a conference app.

Less appropriate - This product would probably not work for a smaller organization just looking for some basic registration features. It may be a bit overwhelming and costly for that type of group.

We are using Cvent as our single source of truth for all event data. We're a large organization with over 400 employees and we're producing over 600 global events annually, with thousands more at the local and regional level. Cvent is critical to creating data consistency and clearly defined parameters that everyone in the organization must follow.

I think Cvent works well for small organization as well as large. There are some small improvements that could be made to the large scale portfolio level cross-event reporting capabilities but I know that Cvent is working on these. The biggest win for us has been implementation and utilization of the meeting request forms.

Cvent Event Management is our primary hybrid event platform. We run a large hybrid meeting annually with >100 livestreams and 200 total sessions. The Cvent Event Management app and Attendee Hub are indispensable tools for all attendees, both in-person and virtual. Because of our confidence in the platform and its tremendous functionality and configurability, we're utilizing it increasingly for smaller, mostly virtual, events throughout the year, as well.

The breadth of features is such that Cvent Event Management is a strong choice for events of significant scope and complexity, particularly in volume and diversity of programming. The learning curve may be on the steep side for customers with simpler needs, though Cvent Event Management is addressing this by providing more streamlining in their solution suite.

We use Cvent for all of our events. We have a large number of events, and some have complex requirements. We have a large number of colleagues involved in setting up and managing events. We use Cvent for both in-person and online events. We require accurate data from our event programs for lead management and related marketing purposes.

It's particularly beneficial for large organizations that host a diverse range of events, including those with multiple sessions. Their support team is quick to respond to issues and resolves them quickly. Cvent makes it easy to set up event registration sites and emails very quickly. It is easy to brand the event materials.

We used Cvent Event Management for our registration platform and for our mobile app for a few years. The registration product is good, but extremely expensive. The mobile app is not as good and there are better and more affordable options available. We have two large conferences a year and Cvent Event Management tracks registration, payments, we have a different registration path for our members and can have different email confirmations.

The product is good over all, but extremely expensive for what you get. It's better suited for an organization that needs to use all of the many features included. If you have a small staff, it does take a lot of work off of someone's plate to deal with processing registrations well.

Cvent Event Management is well suited for Meeting Managers, internal or external partners and provides a tool to support the overall success of the meeting.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize Cvent Event Management from everything to meeting registration to sourcing to registration and website creation. It streamlines our process and it's truly a turnkey platform. It keeps the entire events team on the same page and allows for seamless transition between tasks.

The program allows for us to answer the question - how many meetings does the company hold each year to how much do these meetings cost the company. The tool is a big help in standardization of process and templates. The on arrival program keeps us on track while on site, tracking attendees and even helping with on-site registration when needed.

I highly recommend the Cvent Evet Management tool to everyone - even for smaller companies who are just starting the strategic meetings management programs.

I highly recommend it if you plan to have on-site registration. Another area is if you plan to have several types of attendees as you are able to break them down into different tracks. Managing sponsors and exhibitors as well as the payments associated.
