Business Problems Solved

Flock is widely used as a primary collaboration tool alongside Asana, allowing multiple teams to communicate and coordinate effectively. With Flock, team members can stay connected and work together seamlessly, even if they are currently working on different projects. This makes it a valuable resource for organizations of all sizes. In fact, Flock is often considered the lifeblood of firms, being used daily for communication, calendaring, note-taking, and more. Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I'm using Flock in my organization from the start of the day and it is very easy to communicate across all the team members with the help of it's inbuilt apps and easy to integrate with other apps features. Mainly this software is very easy to use and the features having this app are the best in the all apps which every organization can be use.

Pros

  • Communication across with multiple team members.
  • Share Note and edit one note any time.
  • Start video call and share document in-app application.

Cons

  • File downloads can be improved.
  • Sometimes on weak internet connection it stops working and reconnection is very slow.
  • Upload file limit should increase.

Likelihood to Recommend

If your organization has different teams and needs to connect more quickly and more reliably then you should switch to Flock as it is having reminders, file sharing, To-do and many more features that keep user aware of their ongoing or inhand tasks, also this makes more efficient to the management to keep updated what their team is doing.

Flock is an amazing tool for small business owners

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use this as inter office communication as well as for communicating between multiple locations. It allows us to send messages and pictures directly to others instantly without waiting for responses. It also allows for one on one check ins with supervisors, and a great way to alert our team of announcements as well. We have also used it for personal notes and even ways to send files and items from our desktop to our phones and vice versa.

Pros

  • Instant messaging across multiple platforms
  • File sharing made easy
  • Team announcements
  • Different channels for communication flow
  • Photos and video sharing
  • Great applications for desktop and mobile applications

Cons

  • Storage lacks unless you used a paid plan
  • Better job of keeping the detail of some images and videos when sharing
  • Easier way of removing people from a team
  • More direct features depending on usage or channel type.

Likelihood to Recommend

This is a great option for teams where not all members are present (work from home, multi locations, road warriors, etc.) as well as creating better communication channels across your business. It is great for communicating parts to grab to people in a warehouse where you can tell them the parts but also share a picture of what they are looking for. It works great for announcing when a meeting is about to start or when the office lunch arrives. It is great for morale with sending memes and encouragement to each other. It is not a great way to talk to clients or prospective customers. This is strictly designed more for teams and businesses to use for chatting purposes.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As a small IT services organization, we needed a software for internal communication and sharing infrmation between team members. Flock had all the features that suited our needs. File sharing, direct chat and group communication helped our teams to collabaorate and work together as a team for developing software projects effectively and on time.

Pros

  • Direct Chat
  • File and Document Sharing
  • Reminders
  • To-Do Lists

Cons

  • Call Quality is low at times
  • New AI based features should be integrated
  • Integration with other Apps

Likelihood to Recommend

In my opinion, Flock is best suited for small and medium organizations with need for a low cost solution and quick and easy setup without the need for a lot of administration and maintenenance. It might not suit the needs of large organizations who need a commercial team collaboration product with a bigger feature set.

Flock - Excellent Instant Messenger and Team Collaboration Tool.

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Flock is used internally in the organization for communication between employees and within teams. It helps us to communicate via instant messenger, personal chat, and group chat. We also use it for voice and video calls. Since our organization has teams of developers, they need Flock to discuss technical matters and share files and documents.

Pros

  • Instant Messaging.
  • File and Document Sharing.
  • Integration with Google Docs.

Cons

  • Voice and Video calls.
  • Searching
  • Stability

Likelihood to Recommend

Flock is very well suited in scenarios where individuals must communicate via chat. It also works great when teams need to communicate via group chat messages. File and document sharing is another area where Flocks works well. Channels are used for discussions on specific topics or organization-wide announcements. Flock may be less appropriate when you use it for voice and video calls. Where.

One of the best corporate messenger tools in the market

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have been using it as an instant messenger app for a while. Flock was the first messenger app we used after the intranet messenger fail to meet our expectations. It's given our company flexibility in terms of cloud-based file transfer and storage, cloud messaging and multiple device access to messages.

Pros

  • Saves messages and files on the cloud
  • You can send messages/attachments to yourself for safekeeping and other device access
  • Voice calling

Cons

  • The calling feature can be enhanced and made better
  • Users can delete messages without a trace

Likelihood to Recommend

First, compared to other such cloud-based messenger services, Flock is reasonably priced. Next, it's a reliable app with a lot of features that can be used in a corporate setting. The app is ubiquitously used by all of us with messaging features required for corporate communication.

Flock - A great app for collaboration and communication

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The team uses Flock alongside Asana (our primary collaboration tool). We have multiple teams working separately with Asana, and Flock is the one place we can all communicate and coordinate together. So it keeps us all connected and working together even if some members are currently working on different projects.

Pros

  • Communication
  • Note Taking

Cons

  • More detailed functionality
  • Task Management

Likelihood to Recommend

Flock is a great communication tool. However, it's in a very competitive space. It offers seamless app integration (i.e., google calendar and drive) to allow for easy use across the platform. It's a great communication tool. However, if you don't need an overloaded app, there are other options out there. And for work purposes, it only covers some of what you need.

A great alternative to the big players in the market

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Flock is basically the lifeblood of our firm. We use it daily for communication, calendaring, notes and anything else you can think of. We are a 2 person firm and we are never usually in the office together so it solves the communication problem perfectly. I can't imagine how we organized our notes pre-Flock.

Pros

  • Real-time communication is perfect.
  • The mobile apps really let us take everything on the go.
  • It integrates perfectly with our calendar.

Cons

  • Search functionality is great but could always be improved.
  • Maybe some more UI configurations. Allow the end-user to customize more. Color coding always helps.
  • Improve to-do apps. It's somewhat convoluted to use.

Likelihood to Recommend

The elephant in the room is Slack, and I personally think Flock takes the best parts of Slack and improves upon them in a more cost-effective package. It is perfect for a small team. Especially if the team members are rarely together. The mobile app really keeps us all updated in real-time.

More time working, less time on phone

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Among the many communication platforms we have tried, Flock has proved to be the most reliable communication software in this organization. Flock is used in the entire organization irrespective of the departments. With our computers set to open automatically when launched in the morning, this helps in relying on information across a large number of people at the same time. The automatic opening of Flock is the most reliable feature of this app because no one forgets to open this software.

Pros

  • Networked phones are a thing of past now. We don’t have to stop what we are doing to receive phone calls currently because Flock can do that
  • It is now easy to send messages to many people at the same time, all we need to do is to add all the contants in the chat and select all to send a message
  • This software has an in-built to-do-list which allows us to assign tasks to different people or users and then supervise each independently

Cons

  • Flock's video and audio quality is sometimes poor as a result of poor internet connectivity
  • It has a messaging limit of 10,000 messages which makes it hard for us to keep messages for future reference

Likelihood to Recommend

Flock is a superb software for an office setting especially where employees are undertaking same task or project at different locations. With Flock, the chat can be kept ongoing in order to resolve issues which may arise in the process. However, Flock is not the best platform where video and audio calls are involved. Because the quality is poor.
