GoodSync is being used to perform synchronization and backup of individual computer drives and it is being used for single computers and server drives. GoodSync is especially useful when synchronizing drives to capture all the changes made from one drive to another. GoodSync can easily identify the files that have been deleted or moved and ensure a consistent file structure.

For reliability, GoodSync is beyond comparison. Some of the other tools I tried either fail through the backup/synchronization process, leaving one with unknown status of what has been backed up and what has not, wasting an inordinate amount of time because one has to repeat the whole process. Goodsync, even if it stops because of power glitches can easily pick up where it left after performing the analysis

Good, Clean, Easy software to use
I use several flash drives with software that is updated periodically, usually on one flash drive. I use GoodSync to update all the drives the same way so that no matter which one you use, you know where everything is and that it's up to date. I also use it to back up our storage NAS drive to another NAS device.
- Quickly analyzes the drives and compares files and dates to give a complete picture
- Gives you complete control over what to do with files that are similar but my not be matching. (same name, different size or date)
- I don't really have any cons
- This has saved many hours of work because occasionally the flash drives die, break, fail or get left behind somewhere. The time to get all the files and software back in working order would take a day or two. By keeping several of them identical with GoodSync, work goes on without missing a beat.
SyncToy - this is better at keeping 2 locations identical if they need to be that way at all times as it runs in the background as a service and updates in real time.

GoodSnync is fast, safe and easy to use.
It is being tested and used by our IT Department. It would address syncing our shareholders and user files and allow us to process in a more timely and efficiently.
- The moving of files in one shot between computer.
- You can sync with other storage devices or computers
- You can also use it to backup files.
- Can't sync to Sharepoint 2016 at this time. Which is a problem since we are on 2016 already.
- It will save time when moving huge amounts of data. Because it syncs so fast.
- It will free up IT Staff to work on other projects. By allowing us to finish this current project first.
- It will save our Company money by freeing up on old servers.
I don't know, I have not tried anything else. This product was easy to use and it actually worked even with the trial version.
