We use Google Drive a lot to share files across the entire company — with colleagues, for sharing information, presentations, and everything else.
Pros
I think the best feature is the sharing — we can easily share all files with our colleagues and different groups, which works really well.
Cons
Maybe it could work better on mobile — it’s not very user-friendly in my opinion. They could definitely improve the mobile UX.

It’s well suited for sharing information within the company and among colleagues. As for where it’s less appropriate — I’d say in terms of document security. If it’s not configured properly, you might end up sharing files outside the organization, which can be risky.
We save all the documents needed to share with the team, record all the meetings, which goes into the Google Drive where it's shared with the teams. So every meeting we do whatever we recorded. It goes to the Google Drive, so it's our storage device, go to storage device where shareable to anyone in the company or team.
Pros
I like the way it reorders for me and I'm able to read through it soon.
Easy access between different other devices, either my phone or another laptop or whatever. So the ease of use with all the devices, that's the most, that way I can no need to worry about having a document in one machine. I keep thinking it so that it's available another one right away so that no need to worry about missing of the document.
Cons
I like the way it is simple. If they come up with a new UI, it's more complicated, but I love whatever it is right now so I don't have any complaints about that. But sometimes thinking between different, if they can give us a tool to find out, duplicate and present, I'm happy to have that kind of feature because I never use that feature there. So probably it's not so download data, I use it personally, my data

The recent add-on for the Google meeting, the whatever the meeting recorded goes there and also the notes, whatever happened, it started taking the notes, AI where it's going to order everything for me and showing there. So it's a good feature for me. I can't complain. I use more useful for me because I'm not a native English speaker. My English sometimes doesn't make, I mean it doesn't form in a good sentence. So it actually, whenever the meeting happens, it's try to think that put in a good way, polished way so that everyone can understand.

Whatever we write, whatever presentation it is, or it is a slide deck or slide deck and the PPTs, everything will be shaped over there. So if we have to share anything, we share it through Google Drive. So it's like sharing anything across with anyone through Google Drive. So we cannot share it just like a document. We have to keep it in the Google Drive and then share it across
Pros
I think it makes our life easy in sharing things, and it's easy to save the data, like it's at one place and then anyone and everyone can use it so that way it becomes easier for us.
Cons
When I started using Google Drive, maybe five years back, the most difficult challenge or the problem faced was it's really difficult to search for the item that is there. So it was not easy for us. Now we are used to, so we understand how to do it, but searching for the items in the Google Drive was a challenge.
Likelihood to Recommend
I'm not really sure where exactly it is less appropriate, but for us it's the go-to thing if we have to do anything. And if we have to save it

Currently I use Google Drive for my home business. Primarily I use it for managing files that I need to be able to access from anywhere. I don't always have a USB file and sometimes the drive has failed from just being taken around. Google Drive has saved me from that.
Pros
Integration with other applications
Sync works with no issues
stays out of my way
generous storage options
Cons
LINUX SUPPORT
Dark Mode
Increased file format support
Likelihood to Recommend
I have found myself using Drive for backups, on-the-fly document generation, temporary archival, middleman for file transfer between cloud storages. I have even used it for shared wallpapers between devices and voice memos.
For the price, it is very competative and has saved me several times. I've been very happy with the product.

We use Google Drive to be able to store downloads together all in one place with access for all of the company to have and share together. It's similar to DropBox on OneDrive or SharePoint in my experience. I like that it allows everything to be shared and updated together at one time.
Pros
Shares files
Updates files
Allows access to all files
Cons
It can swipe up files you don't want to share
Sometimes it mixes with my personal life
I wish I could select what is sent there for everyone to see
Likelihood to Recommend
It is ideal if everyone on the team has to work on one single document together and you can see eceryones work, their additions and subtractions, along with who did what and when and who is currently looking into the file itself. It's less appropriate for sharing if it's also on your cell phone.
We use it constantly. We use it for collaboration on our referral chart. Which helps us make sure the document is completely up to date at all times. We also use it for video collabs so we make sure we have everything in one place. We love it for Google Forms. We do tests for new hires to make sure they are retaining the information from their training.
Pros
Google Forms
super easy to use
clean, professional, user friendly
Cons
Google support is really confusing
needs better AI tools

Google Sheets is amazing and a lot easier to use than Excel. Google Forms is great for making sure ur team is retaining information from their training. we also use Google Forms for IT service and supplies requests, it makes it easy because it keeps everything in one place
Google Drive is our cloud storage platform for all documents across the business. It is where we can collaborate on documents, spreadsheets and presentations and share them easily with relevant people. It is also where we store historical information and it is used as an archive for documents as well.
Pros
Document Sharing
Good search function
Easy to access on numerous devices
Cons
UI could be improved
Too easy to share documents with incorrect access
File organisation is too linear
Likelihood to Recommend
Overall, Google Drive is well suited to businesses or varying sizes as it is allows for centralised document storage and management and also gives easy collaboration on a wide variety of documents. The user interface is pretty basic and could be improved as could the folder setup as it isn't always easy to navigate.
Google Drive houses all of my photos, documents, and spreadsheets, allowing me to switch from working in the office to working from home with ease. Sharing files with colleagues is quick and efficient, with controls in place to determine who can edit vs who can view. The automatic backup features ensures that I never lose what I'm working on, even if it's a regular MS file rather than a Google Doc.
Pros
Share features
Variety of file types (sheets, docs, slides)
Cons
organization
look and feel

Google Drive is well suited in both my personal and professional life. I appreciate being able to switch between computers without losing work. Collaborating with colleagues and family members is a breeze.
We use Google Drive to manage all documents—contracts, invoices, marketing plans—in one place. Shared drives organize client folders, while Docs streamline team notes. External sharing with contractors or clients is common, with tight permissions to avoid oversharing.
Pros
Sharing docs with contractors
Collaborations of docs within the organization
files are synched between all of user's machines if they have multiple
Cons
search functionality
offline is limited
better mobile app functionality

I use Google Drive to support my part time and self employed business documentation. Although I also use it personally for my own organization of financial and personal documents that help me stay sane. It's very easy to organize and understand how to use for someone with basic computer knowledge.
Pros
applications - great variety of plugins and apps that mimic windows technology
use of AI
Access to google search engine
Cons
gmails being transferred to different names - my business needed to change its name and all the document access is still really hard to transfer ownership because my old gmail is in charge and I DONT want to use that anymore.

Everything lol
But seriously, documenting finances in sheets is spectaular I love the shortcuts.
I feel they make WAAAY more sense than Windows Again, if I change my gmail account it is absolutely pain to figure out how many documents and places need ownership changes. Although, it is just a user issue for know. For people who don't start their business on the wrong foot, they'd probs be fine...
