Overall Satisfaction with Google Drive

I use Google Drive to support my part time and self employed business documentation. Although I also use it personally for my own organization of financial and personal documents that help me stay sane. It's very easy to organize and understand how to use for someone with basic computer knowledge.

Pros

  • applications - great variety of plugins and apps that mimic windows technology
  • use of AI
  • Access to google search engine

Cons

  • gmails being transferred to different names - my business needed to change its name and all the document access is still really hard to transfer ownership because my old gmail is in charge and I DONT want to use that anymore.
  • I think it is a great starting point for people who don't want to use a CRM
  • It is also a great place for children to start testing out how to understand online file organization outside of social media (sorry not fully business, but hey they gotta start somewhere)
My mom has NO understanding of this so it's not a perfect 10, but I feel like it's easy for those of us who don't have trouble learning computer functions. Also, if I want to use the documents from my phone or laptop it feels like one unified frictionless experience. I've written entire papers on Google Docs from my phone. NGL, I relied heavily on it in college.
I feel like Google is a lot more affordable and though it would be nice to buy these products to use, drive provides what I need to meet my KPIs.

But seriously, documenting finances in sheets is spectaular I love the shortcuts.

I feel they make WAAAY more sense than Windows Again, if I change my gmail account it is absolutely pain to figure out how many documents and places need ownership changes. Although, it is just a user issue for know. For people who don't start their business on the wrong foot, they'd probs be fine...

Using Google Drive

1 - I run my business solo on Google Drive and it serves all the functions I need. From timelines to policy documents, drive really has it all.
1 - I have to keep my workspace organized which requires time management and compartmentalizing specific items. Also, ensuring folks have access to the correct workspaces takes an experienced eye with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Sheets- budgeting
  • documents - internal knowledge sharing
  • Calendar - syncing with other apps to show availability
  • Buying more space if business continue to scale
It's perfect for me. It keeps things saved and is easy to remove items if needed.

Also, I very much enjoy the formatting options. Along with the integrations it has for SSO. Overall, this is the most user friendly system I have ever come across.

It's GOOGLE. I mean who doesn't integrate with them haha

Also, it's so easy to use with a variety of items that are "challenge by choice."

I'm not a huge fan of pivot tables and serious excel formulas, but when I'm ready to challenge myself on my analysis skills, I know I can quickly learn the necessary functions to get my work done in this platform.
I might be more conscious of where I'm uploading files from and how to best utilize the space that I pay for on drive.

Nope. I don't think I need it. The platform doesn't really give me enough trouble to need to contact anyone for help. I think the only google product that I've reached out for help was gmail but drive is amazing.
The creation of this product provides me enough support without needing any other hands on my issues. I believe that they took their time to diligently craft this product and it really shows how great it is.
