I am an employee for my organization and the Gusto app is great to use for all hours that I worked,keep track of all work history.The rainy day saving app is easy to use for saving as well as using the spending card.The app keeps track of sick days and all other work benefit I have with my organization.I highly recommend using this app.

Recently, I hired my first employee. There are a lot of changes with that especially dealing with government agencies. Gusto was so wonderful helping me understand and get everything setup correctly. One gal emailed me proactively to ask if I needed help, which I did. I was so appreciative of her help. I am so thankful for Gusto. I could not do this without you. Your help staff are so kind and patient. They do a good job of helping when I need it.

I really appreciate the accessibility of my pay information in Gusto, especially how easy it is to view and even make edits when a new pay period comes up. It gives me a sense of control and keeps everything transparent. I also like that I can track my work schedule within Gusto—it’s convenient to have everything in one place, from my hours to my pay. It makes staying organized so much easier.

I’ve found Gusto to be a very convenient platform to use, both on the browser and through the mobile app. Whether I’m on my computer or phone, the experience is smooth and user-friendly. I can easily log in, check my paystubs, update my information, and even track my schedule. Everything is laid out clearly, and the design makes it easy to find what I need quickly. I really like having the flexibility to access Gusto anywhere, whether I’m at work, at home, or on the go. It saves time and keeps me in control of my payroll and work details.

I've been using Gusto to run payroll for 10 years now, and I've never been tempted to switch. From the start, Gusto has been incredibly easy to use for someone without a business/finance/accounting background. I love that forms get filed automatically for me, new employees are able to onboard their own paperwork online, and everyone has online access to all of their forms and paystubs. Direct deposit works beautifully; I'm able to have benefits deducted with one setup and never have to think about it again; Gusto integrates with our time tracking app, so I just upload an employee time report and run payroll within a couple of minutes. I even get reminders when it's time to run. Over the years, they've expanded functionality without affecting the quality of the basics (unlike some other apps). I absolutely recommend Gusto!

Gusto has been great for running payroll for a small company with a few employees and contractors, especially when you want to integrate benefits deductions, worker's comp insurance, and have forms and payroll taxes filed automatically. If you're looking for a smooth and easy payroll experience, I highly recommend Gusto.

As a bookkeeper, I recommend Gusto to my clients needing payroll processing. The setup is quick and easy. My clients have no issues when running payroll. I can easily pull any reports that I need with the accountant access. I also use Gusto for a full service client that I have where I am running payroll for them. They love the PTO breakdown and the payroll approval process as well. The integration with QuickBooks Online saves me so much time as their bookkeeper.

I recommend Gusto for everyone. Whether you are only paying contractors, yourself, or a full team, the platform is user friendly and visually appealing. I love that they are able to handling all payroll tax payments and filings including all year end filings. This saves business owners so much time, ensures accuracy and has everything conveniently in same place. I do not have clients with over 50 employees, so I cannot speak to larger organizations. But with departments and manager settings, it seems that Gusto would be able to handle that as well.

I highly recommend using Gusto for any small business. It makes running payroll a breeze and I don't have to worry about everything being legally done. It's also nice to see what kind of benefits I can offer to my employees and I was able to find a 401k and Worker's comp provider through Gusto. I'm happy to be working with them!

We utilize Gusto for payroll. Gusto makes payroll taxes easy! Both state and federal taxes are calculated and paid without effort.

Pros

  • Automatically files business state and federal taxes
  • Automatically deducts taxes from payroll
  • direct deposits paychecks to employees bank accounts

Cons

  • Flexibility in generating payroll related reports
  • They utilize Plaid for transferring payroll funds from business accounts, however if there is a slight variance in the balance, they will cancel the payroll and make you resubmit it (and then you are late submitting it). They didn't used to do this, and I was able to utilize my banks credit line to float the difference, now I can't do that. It makes it frustrating and inconvenient when at the last minute you realize they cancelled payroll.

Likelihood to Recommend

Gusto is great for the small business owner who is not skilled in accounting and payroll tax filings. I tried to do it on my own before discovering Gusto, and an audit revealed that I was doing it all wrong. Once I started using Gusto, everything has been filed correctly and on time. Definitely makes payroll for the owner easier and stress-free

We've been using Gusto since the company started. We use it for payroll in two different states.

Pros

  • Filing state and federal forms
  • Taking care of payroll garnishments - including sending checks!
  • Payroll reports I can use for workers comp audits and other uses.

Cons

  • Improves customer service respond time.
  • Add more functionalities for payroll deductions.
  • More structured way to add one time reimbursements.

Likelihood to Recommend

Excellent for small to medium sized businesses including businesses that have employees in more than one state. If you need payroll that's highly customizable and complex, maybe Gusto is not the option for you.

I use Gusto to request time off, check my benefits, adjust my 401k and see my payroll. Gusto also provides easy access to my paystubs and my organization's management tree.

  • Easy access to view employee health insurance benefits

Cons

  • Would be cool to access company stock options
  • Would be nice to see reasons for past requested PTO (e.g., sick days vs vacations)

Gusto has been a good tool for my company (50-100 employees) to track and manage paystubs and requested time off. It has a simple layout for more minimalist style, but effective functionality.
