Great choice of switches for most purposes
- High reliability so far has required very little maintenance and upkeep.
- Standardising on particular HPE product lines and even specific models has reduced our burden supporting multiple customers.
- Relatively low cost of entry. As far as switches go, HPE are very reasonably priced.
- Over all the ROI has been high, the hardware is built to last.
- The ROI on technical support has also been high, since so little maintenance is required.
- The ROI for business up time has also been high, our HPE switches keep our networks up.

Aruba/HPE 3810 Switches Review
- I really like the idea of paying for the switches one time and just pay for support going forward. The prices are on the high end but I think it is worth it. I wish they would include all the features in one go so we would not have to pay for every new feature.
- The initial savings is the first positive. I get everything I need and expect from a modern switch, at near half the cost of a Cisco.
- Second, I typically plan everything for a 5-Year Life-cycle. I am getting an average 7+ years out of these switches. Never pulled a dead one from a rack.
- Open platform means more options for support and no need for proprietary training.
