I use it along with my coworkers to review documents submitted to us for analysis. This is my first time using Logikcull. I was trained by someone who had used it at a previous place of employment. Logikcull is very user friendly. I was able to get the basics down in under an hour. I've been using the program independently since. It makes a great deal of difference in getting through large files more quickly as well as making connections between documents. The new features, such as linking documents with similar content, will make it easier still.
  • Tagging similar documents
  • Diffusing large data sets
  • Advancing user friendliness
  • Making saved searches easier to find
If you have to dilute large data sets, it reduces the man hours necessary considerably. Being able to tag documents for further review is also a great feature.

As far as I know, it is being used in my department, in-house counsel. It makes the process of document review and production in discovery much easier.
  • easy upload of documents
  • ability to customize tags and labels to fit what you need
  • ease of downloading all docs as .pdf no matter the native format
  • ease of review and organization
  • when reviewing and having to go to the next page, the system stays at the bottom instead of scrolling back to the top of the doc list, which would be the next doc in the list
  • being able to change the font size of the redaction labels would be KEY
If you have a large volume of documents to review and produce, and especially when you know a lot of those documents are irrelevant and can easily be culled with Logikcull.

Logikcull is used at the firm for a variety of purposes, but primarily in support of the firm's E-Discovery Practice Group, in the context of litigation, subpoena response, and corporate internal investigations. It is used across the entire organization. It addresses the challenge of powerful analytics within the context of a highly comfortable user interface. It also provides the user with powerful administrative privileges, as opposed to other platforms that try and hold on to these. Thus, it empowers its users.
  • It ingests data robustly, allowing the user to set a variety of ingestion rules.
  • It provides an interface for attorney review that significantly reduces user training.
  • It has robust user features to enhance the review and tag function of an attorney review team.
  • There are too many wonderful export features to list, but suffice it to say very robust.
  • Support is at the platinum level with real-time chat interface with REAL tech types who can solve issues, without going through a script
  • The company obviously invests heavily in development and seems to always be on the industry edge of simply making things better, faster, more efficient, and cost-effective.
  • Perhaps data processing transfer from here to there, but that may be as much the Firm as Logikcull.
  • A few more reporting features to keep track of reviewer activity.
  • Auto notices of reviewer activity would be neat.
Logikcull is well suited to engage a firm from the beginning of the EDRM to the end of the EDRM cycle. It has robust data ingestion functionalities, data processing power, superb metadata, text extraction, and indexing code. It empowers the user to design attorney review platforms to tailor each case and assignment, without going through layers of "Project Managers." It enables a law firm to redirect revenue that had been outsourced to vendors back into the Firm. And with complete internal control, we can turn on any dime. In short, Logikcull is well suited to be the comprehensive answer to E-Discovery requirements within an active litigation practice, from the smallest cases to the terabyte level cases. Support is at the platinum level.

Logikcull has been implemented across our entire organization for e-discovery and document management.
  • Document management
  • E-discovery
  • Document production
  • Bulk downloads of PDFs for regular use rather than formal production
  • Organization of uploaded data, such a folder storage
Logikcull is a very user-friendly platform for document management and e-discovery. It works exceptionally well for creating and sharing document production, uploading and managing documents, and digesting large volumes of data. We shave been introduced to their new legal hold capabilities but currently prefer to use another platform until they update functionality.

We have a small team of paralegals at our firm. Logikcull has made document review much more efficient and accurate at a reasonable cost. We appreciate being able to manage the data on our end, and the ability to upload native email files has helped tremendously.
  • PST file email review
  • Exporting in different formats for production
  • Outstanding support
  • More options for non-bates labeling productions
  • Clarity on interface
  • More options for upload
Logikcull is fantastic on matters in litigation with smaller amounts of data to review. The cost is reasonable and the results increase efficiency.

I use Logikcull primarily to prepare messages from our clients' Slack environments for e-discovery review and production.
  • Customer service / tech support
  • Ease of use
  • Speed
  • Pricing
  • Implementation of feature requests
  • Metadata availability for Slack uploads
Well-suited for DIY e-discovery processing and review. The platform is simple to use and pretty damn fast. If you have simple/basic source ESI and you want something quick and dirty, this is a great platform for that.

Where it's less appropriate is for a large multi-user review, or where the data sources are complex.

Logikcull is being used as our in-house eDiscovery review and production platform. Logikcull assists in searching key terms, producing responsive documents, creating timelines, creating privilege logs and as a whole, it cuts down on attorney review time which saves our clients money. It is easily accessible and very user friendly.
  • Automatic de-duplication of emails and PDF documents
  • Easy to identify privileged documents based on QC tags that Logikcull automatically creates during upload
  • Searching is straight forward and easy to use
  • Production process is easy and the program provides step by step instructions to avoid any errors
  • Needs built in translation services
  • Ability to handle/display images for specific file types such as .dwg
  • Ability to review documents during upload process that have rendered an image.
Logikcull provides a user-friendly, google-based platform that can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection. This provides 24/7 accessibility to our attorneys/users. Documents produced in Logikcull can be easily located and downloaded during trial. Or they can simply be displayed as exhibits within the application in a pop out window.

Logikcull is used by our litigation department and is used to help manage discovery in large cases. We typically use Logikcull for document production that has duplicate documents and Logikcull helps sort and mark the duplicate documents.
  • sort large amounts of documents
  • mark duplicates
  • label and produce large document sets
  • download options for projects could be made easier
Logikcull is extremely helpful for sorting large document productions. It marks the duplicates so you do not produce duplicate documents. It also allows you to complete and save multiple searches based on key word or term searches so that you can produce only the documents you need and do not have to review by hand.

Logikcull is used by paralegals and attorneys to research large collections of documents and search through them to find relevant information to a specific case.
  • Using search terms allows user to identify specific documents that deal with a subject
  • Once reviewed and sorted provides a safe and easy process to produces documents responsive and to endorse them if needed
  • The best part about the Logikcull platform is it does not cost an arm and a leg to use like the other ediscovery tools on the market
  • I would like to have an easier way to identify the last email in a string that includes all the attachments in the string
  • Other areas I have contacted Logikcull about I have been pleasantly surprised to find out that either there had been an update that solved my issue or one was on the way.
Logikcull is just a much easier platform to use than most of the others out there at a much more reasonable price. I have worked within several of the ediscovery products and found that from their customer service which is extremely responsive and helpful to the process of accessing and navigating the platform they are the best on the market.

We implemented Logikcull to assist with the collection, review and production of information and documentation responsive to third party subpoenas and discovery requests propounded in pending litigation matters. At this time, Logikcull is being used only by the legal department.
  • The application permits a quick and user friendly way of reviewing large collections of documents; the ability to "tag" and cull documents is particularly helpful when trying to review a significant volume of emails.
  • The ability to generate an electronic file of documents and download same for production significantly reduces document preparation time.
  • Inclusion of "family members" in a particular search often brings in those family member files that have either not been tagged or tagged as "non-responsive." For example, a recent search I conducted brought in company logos on signature blocks so I had to go through the initial download and delete those documents so they were not included in the final production. There may be an easier way of removing these or making sure they are not included in the search/download -- I'm still getting used to the program.
I really like the program. Relying on the training modules alone is not enough, however. For me, I had to just jump in and start working with the various features before I really understood how to navigate through it.

Our firm uses Logikcull to review client documents for discovery. One other person and I currently use the software, but hopefully I can get others to join in. Logikcull helps us efficiently go through thousands of emails. What used to take 20+ hours now takes about half the time or less.
  • Customer service is great! Super helpful answering all my questions.
  • Their tutorials and FAQ's are also helpful when you are working off hours.
  • Fairly user friendly. Software basics are easy to learn.
  • The document information tab on the right side is hard to see.
  • The threading function is a bit confusing.
  • Would love the option of a combined PDF at production.
  • PDFs lose letters in after production if changed (e.g., when new redactions are added).
Great for large PSTs. Not so great for large PDF documents.

Logikcull is an easy to use, no-frills, cloud-based document management service. We use it in particular cases where the volume of documents makes more informal document management infeasible. Everyone in the firm has access.
  • Document search
  • Document tagging
  • Document viewing
  • Inability to highlight relevant portions of documents.
  • Inability to tag at the page level, which can be problematic for long documents.
  • Sometimes clunky interface.
Logikcull is well-suited to situations where there are high numbers of documents to manage. It is not well-suited to situations where manual document management would be sufficient (e.g., fewer than 1000 documents).

Logickull is being used by the litigation department in our law firm for large-scale document review.
  • It culls through documents very efficiently.
  • It enables us to tag and highlight documents efficiently.
  • It's user-friendly in a general sense.
  • I would like to be able to highlight content within documents which I don't think is available yet (or the last time I checked.)
Logikcull is extremely well-suited for large scale document review for discovery, prepping for most stages of litigation.

Logikcull is used by our law firm to review large batches of discovery. It is utilized by our paralegal and attorneys and solves the issue of reviewing vast amounts of document production by multiple people who would like to provide feedback to each document if necessary.
  • Store large data batches in the cloud.
  • Allow multiple users to simultaneously review documents.
  • Allow multiple users to comment or flag individual documents.
  • Search large data batches in cloud.
  • Refreshing to the last document opened to on screen.
  • Allowing users to know which documents they have already reviewed.
  • More shortcuts for adding comments.
Well suited for large discovery batches and a case involving multiple attorneys, less suited for smaller cases as the cost/benefit analysis shrinks.

The whole organization uses Logikcull to help review and produce voluminous amounts of documents. It helps us organize documents we have on our system prior to production. We also use it to review document productions we receive from other law firms. It allows us to quickly search documents for specific keywords we are interested in.
  • Organizing documents prior to production.
  • Keeps a detailed record of documents that have been produced and keeps a record of who has opened the documents you produced.
  • Makes it very easy to search a large number of documents in record time.
  • Being able to import documents from Dropbox.
  • Highlight function.
  • Sometimes it's hard to review documents imported from another database.
Reviewing voluminous document productions. Documents that need redactions. It helps when creating a privilege log. Organizing documents prior to production. Easy to bate label. Much easier to track document productions and keep a log of who has been served specific documents. It also makes it easier to provide previously produced documents to new parties that appear in cases. I would not recommend it for files that have very few documents.

Logikcull is one of the easiest to use eDiscovery platforms--you do a quick training and get to work.
Logikcull makes getting to the review quick and easy.
Logikcull is used mostly in our firm by the Commercial Litigation department. We have used the system in other departments but not a regular basis.
  • Fast uploads
  • Easy Tagging
  • Quick Downloads
  • Social media importing
  • Checking Excel charts for content (not being 100s of pages long)
  • Search tool not case sensitive
The nice thing about Logikcull is you can use the ask for help tool at any time and get service.
Logikcull is nice when you have to train a new user and they can be up and running is an hour.
I create matters and do uploading in Logikcull mostly, not usually the review end user. I have trained attorneys to be the reviewer.

Logikcull is utilized across our legal practice as a whole to address our electronic discovery and document review needs. Users in our firm rely on Logikcull to identify sensitive data, redact confidential information, and prepare discovery productions along with tagging potentially privileged documents. Because it's cloud-based, users can access from the office or home, allowing flexibility with our review.
  • Secure
  • Cloud-based
  • Dynamic
  • Projects are quickly deployed
  • Tag organization isn't customizable
  • There can be a large learning curve for new uses.
Logikcull is brilliant for large-volume review of email and electronic documents with metadata. You can easily cull duplicates, assign data sets for individual user review, and tag documents with custom issue tags. It's also valuable for multi-user review. You can assign review sets to individual users who are then able to access Logikcull through any web interface.

Our firm used Logikcull for document review in large ESI cases.
  • Allows for quick and simple uploading of records into the platform. This makes the product basically a "plug and play" system which is easy for non-technical people to use.
  • Grants end users the ability to tag documents and search text, allowing the users to quickly find the document(s) that are crucial to their case.
  • Document productions can be created using Logikcull and then shared directly with the receiving parties. By sharing through Logikcull, the user can easily transfer very large sized files to other parties without having to worry about downloading to another medium to make the transfer. It also provides the necessary documentation to show when the transfer was made and when the parties receiving the productions downloaded the records.
  • Some of the searchings are not quite up to snuff for a highly technical user. They provide for Boolean searching, but there are some capabilities that are missing. For example, a negative search cannot be your first query line.
  • There are only limited fields that can be endorsed onto documents when printing or exporting.
  • The same features that make it easy for the novice user are the ones that make it problematic for the experienced eDiscovery analyst. Knowing databases and how to map data to particular fields means that when you use Logikcull and everything is set for you, you lose a lot of the flexibility you may want with the more complicated systems.
  • The analytics built into Logikcull is the lower-end analytics. They do have email threading and de-duping, but the more complicated things like concept cluster and TAR are not available with Logikcull.
Logikcull is a fabulous tool for the firms that do not have a dedicated Litigation Support department. They offer a tool that is very simple and easy to use. You do not need to be highly tech-savvy to use it. And their support team is absolutely fabulous.
