Easy to get up and running, but like any platform, it can handle very complex problems and processes. Still, you may need to work with customer success managers to find workarounds that fit your specific business needs. Very flexible, but you need to introduce your own governance to work alongside the comprehensive admin controls.
We use monday daily to track projects/tasks. We have a team of designers and copywriters and we all leverage monday to make sure our campaigns are meeting deadlines. We typically have 10+ projects open at a single time, so having a place where everything is organized is crucial.
Pros
Organization
Clarity
Communication
Cons
Subitems are a bit tedious to add
Full range of countries in the drop down box
We need a way to archive older tasks to keep desktop clear
Likelihood to Recommend
We use it for our email campaigns and I think it's well suited for more robust projects with many subitems. I find monday not suitable for my personal use with smaller, one-off tasks.
We use monday to organize our projects, files and tasks. Because of monday we're able easily access any information about any given project and communicate directly about it within the platform. Without monday I think it would difficult to keep track of our projects! monday is also super easy to use so any one that is new can quickly get the hang of it.
Pros
Organization
Easy to use
Customizable
Cons
This isn't the biggest deal but I think it'd be cool to be able to customize the themes of our Monday boards, similarly to how slack does it!

monday is very well suited for our lifecycle team because we're able to organize our campaigns and attach the appropriate links and assets to each one. This helps us keep everything in one place and make it's easier to share information between other teams! Without it I think there would be a lot of back and forth (ie "where can i find ____ for _____ campaign)
How our team use monday CRM is to help organize & keep structure of our invoicing processes. We have many boards to our team use, but the main one we use is out "COTI" board which gives a run down of all required documentation & certain tabs needed to push a deal through the next phase to get invoiced. In the case there is a discrepancy that is needed to be addressed, we are able to tag the needed individuals and inform them of the request. My role also requires to calculate reps commissions for each machine sale I invoiced, and we use a monday CRM board called "warranty & profit". We use this board to keep track of our cost for each individual deal that we get & input into our ERP system while also using this board to calculate our gross profit for each sale. I feel like problem we had before the use of monday CRM, was the lack of interfacing between our systems & as well as the customizability. monday CRM so far as looks to be responding well to our systems and offers great options on how we are able to customize each board, with ability to run automations smoothly.
Pros
Has excellent options to modify your view to your liking.
Automation capabilities run smoothly.
Has a user friendly interface.
Options to have multiple view settings for each person with ability to save there view preference.
Cons
There has been some lag at times with the automation, cutting that time down would help for less timely transitions.
When were creating new models for each machine, I noticed we are limited to a certain amount from our drop down feature, if we could expand that number, that would certainly help.
Having the ability to share items across multiple platforms would be a great feature to add on as well.

monday CRM has been excellent keeping track of our financials that we have invoiced for each month. With also great categorization to view to our specific preference, such as revenue by store, sales rep etc. Navigation through monday CRM is also quite easy with the ability to search for items specifically with a search bar. I haven't had much of a time were it was less appropriate to use, just maybe to issue of not able to hold much data in the text columns. The mobile feature had definitely had some issues with, unable to view data for period of time before the app crashes.
Project management - Giving clients real-time views into current projects being worked on for them. Inventory and Product Mapping - Current inventory and where we have each product for each client. Catalogue Management - Current offerings. Client Success - Real-time view of products that we have in each location.
Pros

Reporting.
Cons
Bulk updating.
Ease of importing spreadsheets.
Asset management.

It's great for base-level functions, especially submission forms, tracking, and High-level needs. It could use some revamping in terms of granular needs. Being more flexible with automations, taking basic groups, and creating robust reporting and exporting. Exporting dashboards has been extremely clunky over the last 6 months.
I use it to classify my leads and create contacts and company base in this information and how interested they are to my services. I did not have one place where I could see all the information about my clientes, and with monday CRM I can see everything from the begging.
Pros
Having leads from my website, direct to monday.com
Create contact and companies to see there information
Have emails and activities about every contact.
Cons
Separed emails and activities from workspaces
Filter templates of emails
Have more information for follow ups

I help a company use it to reclute people for other companies and they connect the CRM with WM, by having the department of sales on CRM and operations in WM, and it is very useful to have everything in one platform.
We use monday CRM as a way to manage our sales pipeline and subsequent onboarding process. It helps us track potential customers and follow their journey through the negotiation, contract signing, and a lengthy onboarding process where we collect a lot of documents and information about our customers. From there, we continue to keep our customers in the monday CRM so we can follow up when documents expire or contracts need to be resigned or renegotiated. The monday CRM acts as our source of truth for our customers' information.
Pros
Data management
Automations
Access management/security
Easy data visuals and reporting
Cons
Tutorials for less tech-savvy users
Customer interaction integrations
Expanded scope of HIPAA-compliant tools

Monday is excellent at data management and automating tasks to keep everyone on the same page and projects on track. Being able to tag other users, share with external people (i.e. contractors), and communicate easily through comments and updates is very helpful. It's easy to see at a glance where certain projects are at, and it's easy to organize data and files that correspond to a specific project or person. monday CRM is less useful for very complex workflows or when there's a lot of back-and-forth feedback, as those details can get lost easily.
We are a B2B SaaS firm, we use monday CRM to collate leads generated from various marketing channels and qulify these leads through the various stages of the pipeline to close a deal. This will also be a point of ollaboration between the sales and marketing teams to work on the prospect and close the deal
Pros
Pipeline Analysis
AI Lead filtering
Identifying priority leads
Moving contacts through the funnel
Cons
It lacks auto enrichment
It doesnt supply integrating with many third party tools
We are an executive search firm and use the CRM to give full visibility and track email correspondence with our clients and to keep historical records of all of our searches.
Pros
User-friendly, even for users who are not tech-saavy
Highly customizable design
Very easy to duplicate boards and use templates and dashboards
Cons
Setting up automations can be complicated
There are occasional glitches that even monday.com support cannot explain

At the price point offered, the monday CRM was by far the best option for our organization because we were already using it on the Work Management side. They made it super easy to integrate boards and dashboards on both sides. It has been really good at presenting our data in a clean and easy-to-digest manner. We were a little frustrated in the set-up process that certain boards could not automatically "speak to each other" without complicated automations.
We brought this into our organisation to help with the multiple systems we had to strealine and centralise the various departments, systems and ongoing projects to help us be more efficient and effective in our day to day communication and also with how we report. We had previoulsy being using a system that was over capacity and lacked the functions and reporting elements we required to help with our growth
Pros
project tracking
automating various elements to make everything more efficient
ease of use and integration
offers varied levels
Cons
the navigation can sometimes feel clunky and isn't always intuitive
it's still a new system for us so needs training
there is so many options that it can be confusing that could be more to do with it still being new and in the early stages for us
Likelihood to Recommend
We had processes in the place that required many steps and layers to them that were proving very time consuming and ineffective. Causing frustration in the team and also some elements getting missed with the volume. The system enabled us to build an automated version that does exactly what we need it to but is so much more streamlined and easy to use and follow up. it has increased our time efficiency
