Cove Data Protection is our go-to solution for quick deployment of Cloud Backups for Servers. Especially the minimal bandwidth it uses for incremental backups is very impressive compared to other (non cloud-native) backup solutions. It integrates well with our RMM platform (N-Central) for Deployment and Monitoring. The options to do scheduled Disaster Recovery testing on their end also provides a upsell to our customers.
Pros
Optimised Incremental Backups (Very small upload sizes)
Deployment is very fast and easy, no "complex" infrastructure required
Easy to use UI which and centralized management and monitoring
Always CloudBased backup which cannot be deleted on the endpoints which adds a great layer of security.
Cons
While being very impressive at upload sizes it comes with the downside that backups itself are a bit slower
Bare Metal Recovery is more involved than other Image Based Solutions
Bare Metal Recovery of Cloud VM's (Azure) are not possible.
Likelihood to Recommend
For scenarios where upload bandwidth is limited Cove Data Protection is our go-to. It also provides us with a very easy method to deploy, manage and monitor all of the endpoints in a easy to use UI. It also requires no additional hardware requirements, a NAS or other storage is optional to provide a local cache (Speedvault) but in scenario's where no other hardware is available it's a great option. (compared to more traditional backup solutions who need a specific VM to run on and onprem storage)

We use Cove to backup a majority of our workstations that we support in our MSP business. Cove not only backs up workstation files and system state, but is also leveraged to backup 365 tenants, including email, calendars, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams data. We additionally use Cove to backup servers and network folders.
Pros
File-based backups
Backup of a majority of all Microsoft 365 data
Making restores of data easy
Cons
Some of the settings that need to be configured per install need to be done manually
Some reporting of failed backups doesn't fit our workflow
Linux support is there, but minimal compared to other operating systems
Likelihood to Recommend
Cove Data Protection is well suited to a lot of scenarios, including use by MSP's for backing up client workstations, servers, Microsoft 365 tenants, and network shares. File-based backups make the storage less, and the restoration time of individual files very fast. Cove is not applicable to Google tenants, requiring another solution for Google Workspace clients.

As a managed services provider (MSP), we strive to provide the best in breed solutions for our clients. Cove Data Protection addresses the need to take quality backups of many different devices, prove that a restoration is possible, and prove we can have it joined back to the network in case of an actual loss of the hardware for any number of reasons. Users range from non-profits to retail, healthcare, and others. It meets the compliance needs of these industries.
Pros
Successful backups
Successful restoration
Integrates back into the network from a restore
Cons
Prettier reports
Use a different login instead of SSO from the rest of the n-Able platform for security purposes

While you can integrate a NAS to backup locally and then to the cloud to preserve some network bandwidth, we only use direct to cloud. We've not noticed a drop in bandwidth, but I would suggest doing the NAS to cloud option if you were backing up dozens of devices from the same office. That said, it has been ideal for our clients who have a lot of people working remotely. We have it working well for servers, workstations, and laptops. Failed backup attempts only show when the user has turned off the computer. In almost 10 months, we've not had one server with a backup failure.
We use Cove to handle all of our Office 365 backups, along with some workstation and server related backups. This provides both ourselves and customers piece of mind that their critical data is being backed up and is safe.
Cove offers multiple backups per day with a long 7 year retention timeframe
Pros

Well suited for all server backups, on premise and cloud hosted.
We offer Cove as a backup solution to our contract customers for both servers and workstations. We are currently utilizing it to protect and backup over 200 devices across multiple organizations. In our line of work, this has been one of the best defenses against ransomware attacks but has also helped us to recover documents that have been accidentally deleted or lost as well as recover from unexpected hardware crashes.
Pros
Individual file recovery
Full system backup/recovery
Backup archiving
Cons
Reporting
Troubleshooting information/tools
Notifications
Likelihood to Recommend
Recovering specific files back to their original or to a new location. Full recovery of a system after a ransomware attack or hardware failure. Has decent integration with N-Able RMM. Checking and troubleshooting backup health can be problematic as the error codes do not clearly indicate the cause of the issue. Providing customers with data and reporting is sometimes lacking.

We are using N-able Backup across our entire organization. It is a safe and secure option for backup.
Pros
Frequent backup
High level of customer service
Protecting user's data
Cons
Cost
Monitoring aspects
recovery failure
Likelihood to Recommend
The integration with N-Central works pretty well. Their system for immutable backups works well. Allowing you to choose your own storage helps meet each client's budget and recovery time objectives. Jobs are managed and scheduled only by the server, not in groups. Each one must be set up, scheduled, etc. one server at a time. This can get cumbersome in a larger environment.
N-able Backup (formerly Solarwinds Backup) is our main product to provide our customers a backup solution. It's being used as a server, workstation, and Microsoft 365 backup solution.
Pros
Ease of use
Always working as expected
Quick
Stable
Cons
The ability to launch a backup set directly form the cloud as a VM
Office 365 backup should have the ability to select an independent folder from OneDrive and Sharepoint/Teams
VMware vSphere/vCenter integration
Virtual environment replication feature
Likelihood to Recommend
Any simple backup operation, workstation, and server. Good recovery option for file and folder. Need improvement on backup of virtualized VMware vSphere, vCenter.
