We use PM for all our internal communication. It's used for product updates, small talk, questions, etc. Everyone in the company has this installed on their computer. Since we're such a large company, it's imperative that we all have easy access to talk to one another, PM solves this issue for us.
Pros
allows us to create multiple channels
let's us add gifs to conversations to keep things light
Cons
I wish PM didn't time out all the time
Likelihood to Recommend
If you need to stay connected with your team, use Pigeon Messengr (PM). This is a great solution if you have a large team or org., like we do, but it's also a great solution if your team is remote.
We use Pigeon Messengr as our primary internal messaging tool. Prior to Pigeon Messengr, we had used mostly used email and phone calls, which were an absolute pain. Anyways, Pigeon Messengr has replaced these tools as a central portal that allows me to communicate both with my reports and my leadership in one convenient place, without the pain of having to go click back and forth between inboxes and email chains or having to scroll through email chains with everyone's eight-line signatures to finally find a document. Now it is all in one place.
Pros
Search options. It isn't quite Google, but it is significantly easier for me to find specific messages and shared documents in the threads than it was when we were using email.
Ad-hoc meetings. The Huddle feature is really great for those moments when you think "This would be so much easier said than written" but also don't want to walking across the office building and up and down stairs just to have a five minute chat.
Mobile App: It's great for those days where I have a doctor's appointment to be in the loop available for the team. Keeping track of emails on my phone was a pain.
Cons
File types. It works fine with your standard files (Word, Excel, CSV, etc.) but some of the reports put out by our software won't load, so it's back to email.
Small thing, but the new message notification often will not go away.

Pigeon Messengr functions well as a general communication tool. In my experience, the only area it is not well suited for is transferring documents with specialized file formats. I also am not aware of what its auditability is like, but we are using it so it must be there.
I work remotely, so I rely on Pigeon pretty heavily to keep in touch with my team. We have a channel for the whole department to share info and ask questions, and we can message each other individually or create separate chats of select people to discuss specific things. We use it every shift to let each other know who's active/working and when we are signing off.
Pros
Notifications - I can minimize the window while I'm working and new messages will pop up on my screen so I don't have to remember to check the channel.
Statuses - we always put up a status of what we're working on, I like how you can hover over user names and it will show you their statuses.
Overall look - I don't know if my company chose the color scheme but it's really sharp. Also love that I can use Dark Mode, easier on my eyes for sure!
Cons
Would like a "nudge" feature when people don't answer. I think it's easy to overlook new messages if they're in an older thread.
That's all I can think of. Pigeon is great!
Likelihood to Recommend
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a solid work chat. It has been super reliable and easy to use for everyone. It may be less suited in a much bigger company where I could see messages being buried if there are too many people in one channel.

I use Pigeon Messengr in my organization to stay in contact with co-workers, remain up to date on important information, and communicate with the management team. This platform is also essential because my job is WFH, so it is utilized like a time clock for notifying everyone when I am working. Pigeon Messengr helps my organization be efficient while enjoying our work.
Pros
Silent but visible alerts when notifications come through.
Tagging specific people to alert them.
The search function is fantastic.
Cons
Sometimes a message will get broken up and I am unable to view it all at once.
It would be nice if it had a way to select a message as being unread. I like to leave messages unread as reminders but sometimes need to just read them first.
It won't allow me to upload a picture because it has to be of a very small size. Would be more personal if I could use a picture on my profile.
Likelihood to Recommend
Overall, this platform is great! Pigeon Messengr is well suited for communicating within your team at all hours of the day. It does a fine job of including everyone to help with staying on task. It is also quite fun to use the reaction feature. I definitely recommend this to any company of small or medium size. However, I feel that Pigeon Messengr is probably less appropriate for larger organizations because it could easily get overwhelming to use.

In my organization, I use Pigeon Messengr to communicate effectively with fellow employees across different departments. It is the easiest tool to use for communicating with my team and others through video chats, calls, and even texts. Emails can be time-consuming, but for quicker response time, Pigeon Messengr really helps.
Pros
The chat feature works seamlessly whether you're in a video call or voice call.
The video is of great quality in all calls.
When in meetings or away from the office, you can easily set up alerts and messages to let team know if they try to contact you.
Cons
Times for meetings and events can be incorrectly scheduled because the time zone automatically selected is PST, and it doesn't convert to other times for everyone else
Mobile app could be improved, it is difficult to toggle between screens
Customer support can only be accessed through a chat feature or email
Likelihood to Recommend
Pigeon Messengr is well-suited for companies with multiple teams that need a more direct means of communication. It is less appropriate for larger companies where there would be more users. It could be confusing to keep the groups of teams together and organized.
We use Pigeon Messengr as a way to communicate between departments. I love using this program with my daily work responsibilities. I work with Social Media and it's so helpful to chat with my coworkers and ask them for suggestions, links, and have video conferences to discuss upcoming project plans. One problem I've noticed is the interface.
Pros
Smooth video calls
Specialized features in the app that make it easy to communicate from anywhere
Great customer service
Easy to use
Cons
There have been some issues with the interface.
Still waiting for good ROI

During COVID, we had to start working remotely for safety reasons. We originally worked with Slack, but then heard about Pigeon Messengr and the positive impact it has on companies. After a few months of using Pigeon Messengr, it has been clear how much better it is and the smoothness of each conversation whether it be video or a chat session. I've seen such a difference in my department while using this product.
My department uses Pigeon Messengr for communication. The chat feature allows our international team to communicate without the use of email or phone calls. In addition to chat, we also use the video features in place of Zoom or WebEX. We love that we can create separate groups for team projects, allowing us to share notes, images, and videos. The integration with Trello and Google Drive aids us in project management and file sharing. Finally, for our local team members, Pigeon Messengr makes it easy to conduct phone conferences.
Pros
Video conferencing is smoother than its competitors.
Messengr's all-in-one communication platform eliminates the need for many products.
Scheduled video and phone conferences automatically appear on the participant's work calendars.
Cons
I wish you could set different notification sounds for different groups.
A lofty ask, but since many outside companies use Zoom and Webex, it would be nice to have an integration that would allow all systems to work together.
Tagging users in different chat groups could be simpler. Sometimes it's hard to find the person I'm looking for.

Pigeon Messengr is great for international companies that need an all-in-one communication system. As I mentioned previously, you can video conference and message other company team members with general ease. Even companies that are local can use the product to communicate within and across teams, as it eliminates hunting down the person you need to talk to.
Our company uses Pigeon Messengr to have group chats and direct 1:1 chats. You can also have a notes page just for yourself. I like being able to easily connect with my coworkers without having to call or email them. It's also really useful since we are spread across multiple states, and even have a few employees in other countries. Ever since our company went remote due to the pandemic, this has become our primary means of communication.
Pros
The video integration tool is really nice because you don't have to open up a separate Zoom window if you need to meet "face to face"
I like being able to customize my alerts for different people/groups
I like the ability to set myself as "busy" so that I can focus without being disturbed
Cons
Sometimes it is laggy
Sometimes I don't get alerts even when I should be
I wish I could set time limits for "muting" alerts so I didn't have to manually set my status as available
I wish the mobile app worked better/had the same functionality
Likelihood to Recommend
Pigeon Messengr is a really great tool for our company because we have lots of employees in lots of different departments. Being able to send a message that goes to a specific small set of people is really useful. Some information is not relevant for all employees and it is necessary to exclude them for privacy reasons or just to keep from cluttering their workspace. PM does this very well. I'm not sure it would be useful for a very small office or company that doesn't need to communicate across different locations/states/countries.
Goodbye Microsoft, hello freedom. We use this to do team collaboration with our fully remote team. Sharing files, images, videos and statuses on projects are much easier now that we're using this. We are currently using it on our marketing team but likely will roll out to the entire organization as we were the test group to first ensure its features.
Pros
Mobile integration is great
Great UX makes it easy to organize conversations and projects
Pricing is better than Slack and others.
Cons
Dark mode would be great
Voice calls are good but have some lag issues
Customer service is slow

Great for startups and lean organizations but also for mid-size businesses. Our marketing team loves it and the rest of the company will soon follow us to this great software.
This year, my team has doubled in size. Our business has been doing well during the pandemic, but we have not been able to return to the office as quickly as we thought - and while we've been remote, I've hired several new team members who will continue to work remotely even after the rest of us are back in person, since they live in different states across the U.S. I decided that Slack + personal cell phone calls wasn't going to cut it. We needed a communications app to facilitate chat as well as calling that would work now and in the future when some of us are in a meeting room and others are calling in remotely. I wanted something we would only have to learn once. Pigeon Messengr fit the bill.
Pros
Integrations are super helpful. We use Trello for most of our project management (especially working with contractors), and Google Drive + Box for a lot of our file sharing. Pigeon Messengr integrates so that we're notified when files are shared or projects are updated. We can even set permissions from within Pigeon Messengr, which saves my team having to keep a bunch of different tabs open.
It's really nice to be able to send SMS messages from within the app too. That way, even if someone doesn't have Pigeon Messengr downloaded on their phone, I can still reach them if something urgent comes up while they are traveling or in the evening.
Pigeon Messengr is the most cost effective option I've found. You can't beat it for the quality of video and audio, plus the number of minutes you get for the price. WAY better audio/video quality than Slack. Better integrations and chat than Zoom. Also, the free trial is really substantial. We got to use it for 2 weeks before we had to upgrade to the paid version.
Cons
Doesn't yet integrate with JIRA or Confluence, which means we still have to go directly into those systems to collaborate with our Product team.
It requires you to add a photo for the coworker directory. I see why this is helpful for searching, but I just hate having to look at my own photo whenever I'm chatting with someone.
Can be hard to use on an iPad or Macbook Air or Chromebook due to high memory usage.

If you have a mix of remote and in-person employees, or are all-remote with a distributed team and you don't want to rely on a combination of personal phone calls + having a bunch of different apps and tabs open, Pigeon Messengr is the tool for you. It's not the least expensive option on the market, but for the quality and breadth of features you get, it's truly worth it. Also - if you like to get ahead of the curve, and you're an early adopter, now's the time to try Pigeon Messengr. I think in a couple of years it's going to be everywhere, because it just works so much better than Slack or Teams for video/audio calls.
