What is Runbear?
Runbear is a platform for configuring and deploying shared AI teammates inside Slack and Microsoft Teams. Teams define each agent’s role, connect approved company knowledge and business tools, and make the agent available where daily work already happens.
How teams use Runbear
Runbear agents can answer questions using connected context, prepare customer or meeting briefings, draft replies, create Jira or Linear tickets, update CRM records, route support requests, and trigger cross-tool workflows. Connections to systems such as Notion, Google Drive, HubSpot, Zendesk, Salesforce, Confluence, and Linear let agents retrieve current information and take permitted actions without sending users to a separate application.
Deployment and control
Runbear supports no-code setup for workflow owners as well as MCP connections for custom tools and internal systems. Shared agents can use per-user authorization so actions respect the requesting user’s access. Human approval can be required when a workflow needs review, while enterprise controls include audit logs, SSO, RBAC, encryption in transit and at rest, and SOC 2 Type II compliance.
