We use RXNT for billing, scheduling, EHR, and scheduling patients. It addresses being able to handle all aspects of our business in one program. Our scope is behavioral health and nursing and we are able to use it for all patients. Using RXNT in our practice has allowed us to cut out another program and use RXNT in place for all providers.
Pros
Very detailed patient encounters.
User friendly claims submission and compatibility.
Cons
Maybe include some shortcut features.
Create an option to have multi window features.
Come with a step by step user manual for each different part of the program.
Being able to have eligibility.

It is well suited in scheduling and billing. It is very user friendly and easy to find features. It has a multiple of different options or ways to access certain information. The favorite option also helps a lot when a practice uses the same kind of codes and encounters. Make it less frustrating when navigating the program.
I use RXNT as an EHR system that functions within my multidisciplinary practice. I offer a wide variety of services and this is the one system that is user friendly and diverse enough to allow me to work all within one easy to use platform. I have had a great onboarding process.
Pros
Easy to use
Built in ready to use forms
customizable forms
Cons
Faster onboarding
Faster set up with telehealth platform
no other opinion

I am new to this EHR system and when I have had a question or ran into trouble, my coach has been there to help me navigate my way through. When she is not available, there is always someone else who can.
RXNT is a great platform. It allows me to input not only my medical records, treatment plans, and goals, but also to coordinate with other providers. Providing a seamless integration process between providers in our practice. The layout is straightforward and can be customized to meet the individual's needs.
Pros
Allows for multiple diagnosis and the movement of those in order.
The ability to set macros for ease of use.
The ability to customize settings, forms, and choices.
Cons
Additional forms.
Ability and ease to upload paper forms.
Learning or information tutorials.

Works well in organizations with multiple providers, multiple role providers, and a variety of services and modalities. The platform has good customer support and a help line for ease of use in discussing issues, problems, or needs. Overall, it is a platform that is easily navigated and has good support.
We use RXNT to send prescriptions to the pharmacy in a timely fashion. This allows the pharmacy to start the order before the patient leaves my office. It also saves time to send electronically that hand writing every Rx.
Pros
Saves favorite pharmacies and is user-friendly to add more favorites.
Saves frequent prescriptions and is user-friendly to add more favorites.
Easy to navigate through the website.
Cons
Sometimes the Rx takes awhile to send to the pharmacy.
When a pharmacy requests a refill the refill amount will sometimes change to only 1 refill and I have to go back into the system and change the refill quantity.
Likelihood to Recommend
I like that the website links to my patient's chart automatically. I do not have to look up the patient within the system.
We use RXNT to hold client information, record encounters, and to bill medicaid.
Pros
Clean look
Well organized
Somewhat user friendly
Resourceful
Edge cutting
Cons
Initial implementation - I do not feel we've received a good implementation.
More time with something like an "account executive" to walk up through all the way to our first billing encounter.

The help after realising that my onboarding experiences were not the best was exceptional! Jessica and Karen have been gems in the process of helping us with things we did not even know we needed for billing. We didnt even have CBT billing codes put in our account until about 9 months in. And thats because we just did not know.
I use RXNT as my EMR, escribing, lab integration and soon I'll be opening the patient portals. Currently I am using the templates for progress and new patient notes. Before RXNT, I was using Valant. I became fatigued by the number of pages a progress note would have and the repetition of note sections despite keeping the note as concise as possible. I am working on creating my own intake paperwork, and my own encounter templates. Once this is completed....I think i will be sailing through my visits and have encounters charted and submitted in no time.
Pros
Onboarding - education on the chart was a little fast but I'm not very technical so I asked Samantha LOTS of questions. She was always patient with me and would repeat things without hesitation.
I like the ability to bold, italic, underline, change font and size. My previous EMR I could do NONE of that which produced a very bland appearing and difficult note to read.
I love having the ability to integrate Quest. It is so much easier to enter lab orders in the patient's chart rather than going to Quest and entering all the patient info before adding any labs.
Cons
In the scheduling...make the lines darker between appointment times and days. I don't know how many times I will enter an appt but have to delete it because it was in the wrong time slot.
On that note...there is no way to "reschedule" an appt. date or time. The entire appt has to be deleted and re entered.
I don't like that medications cannot be "stopped" in the medications list. If it is deleted, it's deleted. I have not found a way to see a hx of what meds the patient has been prescribed by me in the past other than going into past notes and that is not a very efficient way to find a hx. It would be perfect if the medication were stopped, it would move to the bottom of the list and maybe a lighter color or say "history" on it instead of "current"...just an idea.
Continuing with medications...If a dose is changed, I have to stop the medication and enter a new one with the changed dose. Similar to when the medication is 1st started, there is a drop down of dosages...it would be nice to have that included in the "edit" form of the med... if that makes sense?
One last thing for improvement. I realize I have to periodically save the note, but I become so irritated if I am in the middle of charting and all of a sudden the page has a cloud over it, the circle of death and you have the option to cancel or reload. If you cancel, the circle continues to circle until you leave the page. If I choose reload...I am kicked out completely and whatever I was working on is not saved. Samantha had said it automatically saves every 90sec but this happens like every 10 min or so. Soooo frustrating when I am in the middle of charting an impression or something that is of length. It totally throws me for a loop and takes me a hot minute to re focus (there's that non tech side of me again).

For my psychiatric telehealth practice, RXNT is just about perfect! Once the patient paperwork packet was completed, the portal is opened and my encounter templates were up and ready to use - I could spend time actually listening to the patient because my paperwork pulls into the chart and subsequent visits can be duplicated/updated easily. It just takes time to get everything completed and ready for use. I didn't have much down time between switching my EMRs which was a little stressful trying to get patient charts moved and my paperwork built.
I use RXNT for documenting visits and communications with patients. I also use this program to electronically transmit prescriptions and for scheduling. The system provides patients with notification prior to appointments and when prescriptions are sent on their behalf. I also like using the report function to monitor my monthly appointment trends.
Pros
Electronic prescribing
Reports for monthly appointment trends
Cons
I would like the ability to expand text boxes - it is hard to read the entire item being typed when the box does not expand with the text like this one did here.
I find that the system glitches a couple of times during my shifts and erases what I've just written. It is usually only a small amount of text that is lost but this is sometimes also associated with movement of the cursor into a different area of the text box. This happens when I'm editing an earlier part of the text box entry and seems to only happen in the areas that do not expand when text is added.

RXNT works well as an EMR for large clinics with multiple providers but does not work well when there are multiple address. We have difficulty with prescriptions when working from alternative business addresses and have to use a second prescribing program that allows us to select from our various clinic address prior to sending the prescription.
We use the billing software only for billing out claims for an Anesthesia Group.
Pros
On boarding training was fantastic
Very easy to find what you need from the dashboard
The auto posting is wonderful
Set up was very easy
The training videos are very easy to follow
Cons
Adding our logo to patient statements would be a great option
Being able to make changes to a charge that has been posted and reconciled vs having a hard close
Likelihood to Recommend
I have used several different software systems and this is by far one of the easiest to use. The on boarding training was fantastic, if we had questions they were answered within 24 hours or we had an update of the status within 24 hours. Gabrielle was very knowledgeable, friendly and on top of everything!
We use RXNT for full revenue cycle management software needs. As a medical billing, coding, and analytics company we have a wide variety of needs as it relates to the medical billing process.
Some of the business problems the product has been able address are efficiency in billing, the ability to gather enough information about a patients account to speed up our processes. It has also helped us eliminate blind spots in the work of our employees.
Pros
Patient portal, communications with patients and an easy to use platform for communciation.
Auto posting features and claim scrubbing tools.
Claim management and the ability to easily work to correct claims errors, rejections, and denials.
Easy customizable reporting tools for administrative analysis on our perfromance.
Cons
The system can sometimes be slow in response time.
Likelihood to Recommend
I believe it is best suited for organizations that wish to utilize all of the available tools within the system.
I do not believe it is well suited for organizations that lack a deep understanding of the revenue cycle process or individuals who try to cut corners in managing accounts receivables.
It works extraordinarily well in situations where one will take the time to set up all the available tools, test them, and make them part of their workflow.
We use RXNT in our private family practice office. We use the billing and scheduler for managing the flow of patients and billing. We used the e prescribing first, then brought on the full suite.
Pros
Support and answer questions / problems
Multiple options for work arounds within the system
Many ways to do the work, so each staff member can find a work style that fits best for them
Cons
recalls- we must bring people back for care but they need reminders. Need automated reminders
less clicks, there are warnings that can not be turned off, resulting in many extra clicks
Duplication of patients- The added patient from the pharmacy side causes problems.
Likelihood to Recommend
RXNT works well in private practice. The patient portal works well. We use a text service to communicate to patients for care that is due, which would be nice in the system. Patient leaves and does not make an appointment. When are they due for care? It is many clicks to find that answer.
