Because we have an enterprise license for Salesforce (even though we had a separate license for Pardot) whenever I needed help with something, I'd get stuck down a rabbit hole and couldn't submit a... … Pardot is quite expensive, so an operation with a smaller budget might have a hard time justifying the expense.

Marketo, is a very slick product, and the pricing they offered us for the lowest-level version (Small and Medium Business) was competitive, but still about $3,000 per year more than Pardot. … Was able to talk down price to a nice point to only pay a little bit per month more than we were paying for Act-On.

We out grew our original package in a little over a year and needed to upgrade, be sure to factor that in as the cost jumps about $1,000 more a month.
