Workyard
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We utilize Workyard to track time for payroll, track time per project, assign tasks, and track project costs. Workyard allows us to set up geofences and auto-clock in our employees so we can track how much time they are at each job. This information allows us to verify the profitability of each job and track productivity.
Pros
- Track time for projects.
- Set up geofences that are realistic to the scope of the job.
- Keep track of time, OT and DT with the permission we set up. This is important since we track emergency time which is paid differently.
Cons
- Coding time from one category to another category. For example, we have an emergency and the time should be double time but we can't change it. So we do it when we pull reports.
- It would also be better if we could add equipment costs per job for job costinging
Return on Investment
- Workyard keeps all the project notes and time from the field in one place.
- Workyard is user friendly.
- Workyard allows for different levels of security.
