Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As website management is centrally handled, we use Wrike to gather requests from our subsidiaries for everything related to websites and e-commerce and to manage those activities across internal teams. This includes promotions setup, new product launches, bug fixing, editorial content publishing, and translations.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it to track product roadmap and separately to plan marketing activities around product launches or events. It helps our organization share progress on key initiatives. We use it to create content for executive updates and for planning engineering sprints. This helps give consistency to processes that would be very disjointed across a large business unit. We don't each need to create something - we just use Wrike

Likelihood to Recommend

Good for roadmaps. Not good for early strategy planning or market research. If you already have product initiatives oia marketing plan, it helps bring organization to those plans. I think it can make basic slides, but for a polished visual it needs work or to be rebuilt. I also find menu navigation challenging.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used Wrike as a project management tool for about 5 years. It was useful as a cloud app for tracking project tasks and had reasonable dependency and report export features.

Likelihood to Recommend

Wrike is a fair project management tool and may work well at either entry level where few features are required or if going all out for top tier features with the commensurate price tag. It was useful for moderate sized projects setup and tracking across a reasonable sized list of a few hundred tasks. It has some good standard reporting features but doesn’t allow much analytics or ability to look across features unless you go for extended top enterprise plan. Eg entering and visualising between billable vs non-billable time capture and reporting is difficult. Wrike’s worst aspect is customer care and service. They have on several occasions over the years shifted features up out of subscriptions into higher level packages and have unfair auto renewal clauses with no care for customer circumstances. Despite being an OK product I would discourage anyone from using Wrike on principle that they are just another money hungry software company.

We use Wrike as a project management tool across our marketing department. The marketing department consists of numerous teams that work together across different locations, so Wrike helps everyone stay on track with projects and ensures they work with the most up-to-date information.

We use Wrike for tracking projects and requests for clients such as set up and ongoing maintenance. We also manage recurring tasks, updates, and anything a client may need. My role is both in set up and in maintenance.

We use Wrike for three primary purposes: tracking business development; tracking the writing of proposals and bids; tracking client work. We are much better positioned to manage and meet deadlines, and maintain file knowledge and history, across several dozen employees and hundreds of clients/projects. We would be very challenged to be able to deliver on our internal and client mandates without a tool like Wrike and Wrike has proved to be an excellent tool for our purposes. We are a professional services consulting company.

There are very few use cases in which Wrike hasn't been able to get the job done for us. We explored a variety of tools for our needs as a professional services consulting company and Wrike was chosen based on numerous trials and product reviews. We continue to expand our use case through features we haven't yet concurred because it is a very scaleable tool of which you can use a little or a lot of the features. Wrike support are great people and we have a dedicated relationship manager who is always available to help us better lever this tool.

My organization uses Wrike to align the work of the teams within our marketing department. Wrike allows us to communicate efficiently, set deadlines, and monitor our progress towards certain goals. It has been especially helpful in sharing assets across our teams while providing a paper trail of changes made along the way.

Pros

Dashboards - Very simple user experience to set, adjust and find tasks.
Time Tracking/Reporting - Easy to compile and report on certain projects or analyze YOY areas of efficiency.
Communication - Communicating is as simple as tagging the person you'd like to talk to. The paper trail left in the comments section makes it easy for those being brought into the fold late in a project to catch up.

Cons

AI - Their AI features/enhancements have a ways to go before being easy to use & inherently helpful.
Spreadsheet Editing - Can be a little difficult to track edits in spreadsheets compared to Word docs & other assets.
Granular Reporting - Not the easiest reporting capabilities for users not well-versed in the platform. Can get a little tricky when trying to get granular with data reporting.

Likelihood to Recommend

Wrike is a great platform to get a department aligned. I feel that most people, when looking for a project management platform, can only hope for that. I'd give it a 9 out of 10 score because it has worked very well for my organization, but the small deficiencies in reporting/group editing may deter some looking for a better solution in those areas.

We use Wrike to manage client based projects and internal action items. Wrike has been a great tool to stay organized and manage dozens of action items across multiple clients. Wrike is a great way to stay efficient and up to speed on day today workflows and processes while maintaining management across the team.

Well Wrike has room for some improvements. I do give it a nine out of 10. It has been a great tool across our company to manage projects internally and externally with clients. Overall, I highly recommend it. It’s a great way to stay organized, especially for companies that work virtually from home.

We use to manage all the tasks we work on. As the project managers, clients or ourselves, we assign tasks to each other to stay on track of the workflow, and all deliverable materials for the clients. Personally, I use it to manage my own workflow and all my tasks.

However, I think it could be improved on attachment previews oon comments, provide more flexibility for editing time entries, and offer greater UI customization to better adapt to different users' preferences and workflows.

I use Wrike as a calendar to organize tasks and events coming up soon. I use it to send approvals to my supervisor and other colleagues. I used to send translations through Wrike, and I found that streamlined request forms are very helpful because they give you all the information at once, so you can start working on your task.

Cons

It might be an issue on my end, but sometimes the tasks assigned by different people have different workflows, so the colors mean different things when I'm used to certain colors. So it would be nice to have consistency.
I keep getting tagged in workflows/tasks that are private or that I can't access (I'm not actually supposed to be on there anyway).

Likelihood to Recommend

It helps organize tasks and workflows within teams so it keeps things very orderly. It may not be suitable for small asks or tasks that need to be done quickly, however it's super easy to duplicate tasks and workflows if needed. I also use Wrike to look back on things I have done over the year as a reminder.
