Yooz is part of our ERP suite helping to coordinate the accounts payable process for over 80 separate entities under one management umbrella. After implementing Yooz 5 years ago, we have been able to streamline workflows and invoice tracking from a paper-heavy, in-house operation to one that is fully remote. The dynamic workflow capabilities allow us to send invoices through approval routes based on GL code, amount, vendor or type.
Pros
Approval Touting
Invoice Tracking
Approver Accountability
Cons
Change Reporting for Auditors
Workflow Exporting for Review
User Exporting for Review
Tracking actual number of documents to check for overages
No payment sync from Sage Intacct back to Yooz unless subscribed to Yooz Pay to pay vendors

Yooz handles multi-entity environments extremely well, giving lots of flexibility for different use cases and workflows. It is also very easy to add additional entities with just a few steps. The on-the-fly sync capability, and multi-directional push for vendors make the product easy to use. One drawback of the system is that invoice payment status does not sync back from Sage Intacct to Yooz, unless you have Yooz Pay,

We receive lot of emails for our Invoices which are sometimes difficult to segregate as we have shared Mailbox. Yooz helps to directly integrate the Invoices in its platform and also along with it helps automatically updating details to process Invoices in it (Invoice number, Amounts, Taxes, GL codes etc).
Pros
Integrating Invoices from emails to its system
Automatically processing various details from the Invoices.
Sending popup error message in case of Duplications
Sending popup error message in case of PO values being utilised
Cons
Performance is sometimes slow on Yooz part.
Sometimes have encountered Technical difficulties.
Need some more high level of reports customization

In current AI generation, manually processing Invoices is not any 1s desire so Yooz helps to integrate the Invoices and helps to automatically process, read and do as much as manual work required easily which helps saves Time and also cross checking of a reviewer as it catches all data properly and then integrate it in its AP management.

I control the accounts coding with the amounts of invoices that are already uploaded into Yooz. I export and download a group of invoices in one entry. That way, I save time instead of posting each invoice in the accounting system.
Pros
identify the supplier details
search for an invoice number aged maximum 12 months by a click
1 second is the period in export and in download
avoid invoice duplication
Cons
Yooz assistance is always standby
Yooz OCR reading is incredible. It identify all invoice features at once.
Yooz is always on the way to learn and improve, based on customer's request
Likelihood to Recommend
It's a large database where a year of vouchers and movements are stored, and it allows to view an image of the original invoice in a second. It raises a flag where a duplicate invoice# appears

As a financial accounting consultant, I use Yooz to streamline accounts payable (AP) processes for my clients. The platform addresses several business challenges by automating traditionally manual tasks, improving efficiency, and enhancing accuracy in financial workflows. I typically implement Yooz for clients managing high volumes of invoices and complex AP workflows.
Pros
Yooz eliminates the need for manual entry by extracting and digitizing data from invoices.
The platform automates approval workflows, ensuring invoices are processed quickly and reducing bottlenecks.
Yooz improves data accuracy with automated checks, minimizing discrepancies in financial reporting.
The platform provides real-time tracking and reporting, giving my clients greater insight into their AP processes.
Cons
While Yooz is generally intuitive, some areas of the interface can feel cluttered, particularly when managing a high volume of invoices. Finding specific features or navigating between workflows can sometimes be cumbersome.
The reporting functionality is useful but could benefit from more robust customization options. For example, creating detailed reports that span multiple dimensions (e.g., vendor performance, invoice aging by department) is not as straightforward as it could be.
While Yooz integrates with many ERP systems, the setup process for these integrations can be complex and time-consuming. Occasional syncing delays or data mismatches also create additional reconciliation work.
Yooz generally performs well in capturing invoice data, there are occasional misreads, especially with non-standard invoice formats or handwritten documents. This leads to manual intervention, which defeats the purpose of automation.
The approval workflows are functional but could benefit from more advanced customization options, such as conditional approvals based on invoice amounts, vendor history, or project codes.
response times can be slower during critical issues. Additionally, some users find the documentation less comprehensive than needed for troubleshooting or advanced feature setup.

As an AP specialist for a home builder in MO & MI, capturing hundreds of invoices weekly for coding, approval and payment is a fast, seamless process with Yooz compared to other programs I've utilized, such as Chrome River and Salesforce. It is very user-friendly, quick and live; therefore, entries are immediate and searchable with all users. Multiple windows may be open for quick reference to previous invoices to ensure consistency. Utility invoices can be searched by account#. Color tags for assigning levels of importance. Words and phrases can be set to follow a specific workflow to reach or skip certain approvers. Confidentiality levels can be selected for sensitive documents. It is effortless to add vendors, account numbers and coding options. You can personalize your tasks list and sort it by preference. There is an option to link additional documents to completed entries. And an option flip documents from a payable invoice to a supporting or accounting document. Approved payables can be exported to Excel for simple importing. Overall Yooz is my choice for our payables needs and I'm happy to work in it all day.
Pros
Simplifies the capturing and coding process for payables
Allowing # and @ to be used for notifications and tracking is very helpful
The ability to search for any piece of data is a great help
Tracks utilities by account number when listed in the Description field
Cons
I'd like to see my linked documents on the main file instead of having to click to a screen to select the linked doc and then open it. Or at least for the Linked Docs column to be more prevalent. Many users don't even notice it there.
Yooz kicks me out all the time. It's too often. And it doesn't care if you're halfway into capturing 7 documents from different locations for one entry either. You have to start all over again. That is extremely frustrating and the biggest issue I have with the program. A lot of time is wasted redoing work lost because of that.
Files being locked because another user was in it is also annoying. I've accidently opened a file, closed it and asked someone to look at it and they cannot because it's locked to my user. This has happened when trying to finalize items for exporting to pay and it held us up.

Yooz is perfect for reoccurring invoices, such as utilities, as you can search by account# to show a list of entries allowing consistency across the board. Color coding can be used to differentiate between utilities or responsibilities. This also helps when exporting specific items. I can select one by one or by group.
We upload invoices and factory parts. Then we code them and export to our pay system. I think the AI is a little generic on picking up on items scanned weekly. Some times Yooz will change my total and i cant notice until i get an email from vendor that pay was incorrect. It will change the total and add a line of its own using a Yooz description. I wish it would remember how invoices are coded repeatedly to save typing time. this has slowed down my posting and upload process.
Pros
invoices are easily able to be found when needing to lookup for any reason
exporting is an easy step to do
this program keeps me from needing to hand file invoices and go searching through piles to locate what i need.
Cons
when exporting we have to change the total column's to numbers or it will export with the incorrect totals.
Yooz needs to not allow itself to add a line to the total and change what you are posting. instead it needs to freeze you from moving on.
Likelihood to Recommend
it has some ups as far as easy locating invoices and not needing to file but it does take more time to post here then export into our other pay system so time management def changes your daily desk work.
Yooz is used in the accounts payable department, and I use to upload invoices and code them to send for approval and it helps pick the vendor names date and amount and also it still has saved the previous coding that was used before so it is easier to use the same code instead of checking and it can go way back to locating invoices in previous years
Pros
recongnising vendor name
vendor address
right amount
picks description
Cons
easy to change coding after sent for approval
can let you go back and change some things
can help with making the words bolder
Likelihood to Recommend
when you have put the amount in, and the amount does not match the invoice yooz sends an alert to indicate that there is a missing amount that you have not added, and it also helps to let you know when some invoice amounts are more than the usual get for that vendor so you can take note

We use "Yooz" as a primary platform for accounts payable and recievable. It does an excellent job at keeping everything streamlined and easy. With our old platform it was difficult to keep change logs and detect clerical errors; with yooz's history log and automatic text detection we no longer have this issue! Yooz saves us so much time in the long run. It has been a pleasure to work with for over a year now.
Pros
Automatic word detection
History/change log
User Interface
Fast upload
Cons
Missing dark mode
missing desktop notifications for incoming invoices
Likelihood to Recommend
Yooz works really well with paying and receiving invoices. At our multi-chain dealership it does well keeping brands/stores seperated so there is no confusion. Yooz is also much faster than our previous accounting software!
One downside to yooz that we experience is sometimes we have an influz of documents come in and it struggles to detect duplicate invoices. This can easily be offset though by manually tagging them using the "duplicate" function in yooz.

Yooz suits companies that are looking to organize and integrate the accounts payable to a system. In our case, Invoicing from vendor to sage, and them to our bank. Also suits companies that needs approvals for the payment of invoices, giving them a more organized environment to access invoices.
