Zen Planner is the way to go for Gym owners
Zen Planner is what our Jujitsu gym uses to keep track of attendance. This is very helpful with having hundreds of students that all need to record attendance. Currently we have 2 tablets that you can use at the school, or you can log in right from the app on your phone. Zen Planner also is able to show upcoming classes, or even special events that need to be registered for. From the desktop site, you can see how many classes you have attended over a certain period to keep track of progress as well.
- Being able to log in from a phone saves quite a bit of time
- If I want to see if there is an upcoming class I can check in on the app
- I can have multiple accounts for any company that uses Zen Planner without having to download a separate app to log in.
- The only thing I would like to see, is the ability to see my entire attendance from the app. I can view it on the desktop though.
- Zen Planner has cut the time I need to wait in line to sign in. I can do this right from my phone without any issues.
- Being able to track my progress and seeing special classes that will be coming up is a great way to find out, without having to go into the school and ask
I have not used any product that are similar to Zen Planner in any way.

Looking for a simple, easy to use, comprehensive fitness school platform? ZenPlanner is it!
I have a small karate school of about 50 students and I manage the entire operation. I needed something where I could manage every student, their payments, and attendance. I also needed to manage lead capture from the website, and the class schedule. I needed one platform to help me manage everything, and this was the best for me. I tried a few others and researched many, but this one had the most bang for the buck and they are always adding new features.
- Easy to use interface
- Payment processing is easy for classes or for a small retail shop.
- The free integrated mobile website is great for everyone to check out the calendar and even sign and pay from within it.
- I can also send emails right from the platform when I need to connect with a student.
- The kiosk (attendance) interface seems to be lagging.
- A stronger android app.
- Saves me time in using a paper attendance record sheet.
- Payments are automated, no need to request checks or payments from anyone. Emails are sent out if a payment fails.
- I can keep track of 10, 20, 30, or even 50 students using this platform.
I switched from Mindbody because their costs were adding up, and I wanted to have the ability to have the students log in to track attendance. If I wanted a certain feature, I had to upgrade, then downgrade if I wasn't using it. ZenPlanner is paid by the number of students, not features, so the pricing is simpler.

Just me. I use Zen Planner for signing people up, monthly tuition billing, some emails, scheduling classes, and attendance.
- Lead capture from the website.
- Zen Planner can also host websites that work with the software, they are great!
- I can see when students haven't attended class in a while and reach out to them.
- Signing up for an event, dinner party, special seminar, etc.
- Automation, checking with students about their experience at the dojo.
