1Password is the Last Password Manager You'll Need
Overall Satisfaction with 1Password
As a composer/audio mixer in the entertainment industry, every job is sensitive content - I'm working on films, shows, or commercials that often have an NDA attached to them. Being able to password protect files going to others is vital- and that's where 1Password comes in. It's also crucial in my own banking and logins for sites.
Pros
- Remembers passwords for all your logins
- Encrypted with strong passwords
- Allows clients to trust me with sensitive information
Cons
- Ability to bring in my old passwords - I had to replace all of them
- Sharing protected files with clients
- Letting clients know what they're sending me is safe from hacking
- Logging into accounts online - so much saved time
- Saves me time in finding lost passwords
- Yearly cost is inexpensive
- If clients feel safe, they'll come back to me for future business
I used LastPass many years ago, and not as an individual, and I found it a bit cumbersome and not intuitive (I was also on a PC with Windows at the time). 1Password feels like a professional program with small businesses in mind. I've also used Chrome and Safari's password managers for websites, and while they both work reliably, they're made with the consumer in mind and lack a lot of 1Password's Business account features.
