Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 X Series (Formerly Virtual Office)
8x8 X Series is being used company-wide. It keeps us all connected internally as well as being our external phone system.
Pros
- Voicemail
- Auto attendant
- Implementation tech support meetings were helpful.
Cons
- Online help resources are not always intuitive
- There seems to be a call lag time when starting a pre-arranged call. Nothing really indicates the call is in progress, or if there is some indicator, it's not intuitive.
- Not always clear to users how to do things like set up various greetings (internal, outgoing, etc.).
- Has given us flexibility in work environment
- So far, costs seem reasonable for features and functions.
- No longer have phone equipment to support and pay for.
We selected 8x8 X Series as a result of good sales demo, competitive pricing, strong reviews, and a referral from IT company we use.
