Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The X Series is great on the user front. It's pretty user friendly and there have been some nice improvements on the platform to make it a much better software for the user. However, on the administrative side, switching from the Virtual Office Account manager to the Admin Console has been really rough. It is not as user friendly as it may appear. They do not provide the information needed to successfully utilize the product. There are some features to it that are not conducive to business operations and make it very difficult to be productive.

Pros and Cons

It does stream line information.
It offers more to the user to be in control of their account.
It is user friendly and easy to navigate.

Allowing for more edit abilities in the administrative side.
The Admin Portal moves very slow.
Better training for the Admin Console.

Return on Investment

The switch created more work for me as things didn't switch over correctly in the Admin Console, taking away time from other tasks at hand.
Administrative portal is not user friendly.

Usability

The actual 8x8 and user portion work great, the administrative side of things, not so much. Things are not user-friendly as an admin and make it difficult for me to navigate and understand what is going on. Also, in the switch from the previous system to the new one, things didn't switch over correctly, creating more work for myself. Also, there have been issues with accessing for some users.

Support Rating

The support team has not been very knowledgeable in my opinion. I have called for support assistance in a couple of instances and the rep didn't know what was wrong or they did and did not relay or provide good resources or knowledge on how to utilize the system correctly.

It's a great system to use, especially if you are working remotely or have multiple locations, as it allows you to communicate with each other. It's pretty user friendly and easy to navigate so it is good for people who aren't necessarily tech-savvy.
