Overall Satisfaction with Acquia Digital Experience Platform

Creating the foundation to support websites across our European businesses. Allowing the team to provide a solid foundation for growth, while allowing the business to meet IT security & compliance needs. It also removes the need to have a team of IT skilled staff and empowering the marketing team themself to build the website with ease.

Using the platform is good but a solid vision is needed as some fundamental decisions can affect you later in the project. We made the mistake of starting to build with the mindset of only what we have in our 2-year road map and not looking at the long term. This has meant we needed to go back and redo some work to allow us to addapt.
The platform itself is scaleable and has no limits, but you have to be careful if you think everything will just fit. Watch out for your DNS settings and remember there are limits on your number or request you can make, all this has a cost impact.
