Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We use the general accounting and construction module in Acumatica. We are a specialty subcontractor that needed the ability to use customizations of our forms and adding custom fields. Acumatica provided the best options for us. Also allowed us to be remote and use the software exactly how we use it at the office.
Pros
- General Accounting is the easiest we have ever used.
- Being able to customize forms.
- Adding custom fields.
- Provide side panels to be able to extend the functionality of a specific form or inquiry.
Cons
- Would like to see more specific training to how specific forms should be used.
- Able to do accounting for a $30,000,000 company with just 2 people.
- Communication within and outside the company has allowed us to do more with less time.

As a specialty subcontractor we have very different needs then other subcontractors. Because of this we needed a software that would allow us to add custom fields and adjust our forms to go better with our workflow.
Acumatica is light years ahead of Sage 100. There were very few updates and added features over the years. Acumatica listens to their customers and makes updates to the software 2 times a year to add the features their customers want and need.
