Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

Pine View Buildings uses Acumatica for sales, manufacturing, and distribution. It is very important for us to have a solid platform that allows us trust the data and is flexible enough to be shaped to our business processes, rather than us needing to shape our business to fit the system!
  • Flexibility in customization
  • Easy access to data for reporting
  • Flexible, role-based security
  • Printing needs improvement. Users often have difficulty in printing from the mobile app.
  • The mobile app has no off-line capability and they don't really seem interested in adding that functionality. This is severely needed for service industries or anyone who has users out on the road.
  • I wish they would add document templates for Word and PDF this would very helpful in populating documents and contracts with ERP data.

The improved visibility into material planning has enabled us to greatly reduce stock-outs.
We use Acumatica to manufacture, distribute, and sell highly configurable, backyard sheds. Think She Sheds and Man Caves, and portable storage buildings.

Acumatica is well suited for a wide variety of manufacturing scenarios, but the part where it is the most lacking is the set-up of product configurations. Our company has over 250,000 lines of configuration option data and all of this has to be statically defined. A dynamic, formula based configurator would save us hundreds of hours a year in product management and updates.
