General Business

Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We're a distribution company, we use Acumatica for AP, AR, Warehouse management and almost every single department in our company. It has helped improve our revenue and we're trying to get the most of the tools it already has inside.

Pros

  • Reporting
  • Easiness of use for new users
  • Allowing business-specific customizations

Cons

  • Generic Inquiries could be more like SQL
  • ARM Reports sometimes can be cumbersome
  • Reconciliation if there's more payments for an AP
  • Ease of use
  • Transactions that we're really cumbersome were reduced

It has improved our time to serve customers, and also it has allowed us to handle our workload better. It has improved Warehouse management (it is still a work in process, but it is better). Right now, we're looking for a B2B environment, so native implementations do help with our workload.
Since we are a distributor of medical machines and supplies, correct information and time efficiency is our bread and butter. We've noticed the improvement Acumatica has made in our business, from its easiness for the users to the more complex tasks. It has given us the robustness to trust its data and the flexibility to set functions specific to our business.

Microsoft 365, Microsoft BI (MSBI)
For a company that has its processes defined and follows them through it's a great tool. For a company migrating it might have a couple of pain points that might need to be addressed with customizations that require time and money to implement. It's a great tool if you can use it efficiently.
