Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We use Acumatica for manufacturing, distribution, sales, local services, pretty much everything that is offered. Price changes, being able to schedule prices changes has been a game changer.
Pros
- Scheduling price changes.
- Fields at the item level to hold item data and documents.
- Simplicity of importing data like item number creation.
Cons
- Reporting, the report section is weak when it forces you to only select a financial period, we find ourselves needing to create GIs or create our own reports to accomplish our needs.
- Too many clicks to find what you are looking for, need for GIs to find basic information.
- Long search time, search too many fields at one time (ex customer screen) resulting in delays in processes.
- Positive: Reduce the amount of time needed for price changed.
- Negative: Reporting, I find myself creating my own reports in Excel because the information in ACM does not accomplish my needs. I will be looking into Velixo to see if this will help improve my experience.
- Positive: Attaching files to nearly every module when needed, this has helped us keep our records together and improve our processes.
4-6 months
I have not seen changes to this yet, we went though one busy season so far but were still having a lot of issues, so I do not feel that it is a good indication of what we could have seen or done to improve our customer experience.
Item data, we have a lot of data for each item and the related items has given us the ability to simplify some processes for our customer service team.
