Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We use an ERP solution that is currently sun setting and we are in the transition phase. We went with Acumatica as we are moving forward with needing additional options that a full service ERP is known for. However our current solution is limited and as they are sun setting, we have chosen Acumatica as they are a solution leader and are currently deploying new features every day to further solidify their ERP offerings.
Pros
- Field Service and the ability to have mobile devices
- Accounts Receivable and customer portals
- Work flows and triggers/automatons for notifications
Cons
- Field service is needing additional love as there are features that "field service" specific vendors have that Acumatica does not
- Coming from MS Dynamics SL 2018, there are reports that Acumatica does not have that come from legacy Soloman "SL"
- The reduction of manual processes has and continues to add to our ROI
- Project Management is better in Acumatica over our old ERP and we can import directly using Excel which has really helped our ROI
7-12 months
Customer portals are great and offer something we have not been able to do. We will soon use Acumatica pay to further enhance this customer portal.
Project accounting and field service are both large arms of our company. This is along with manufacturing and Acumatica is helping us to streamline our processes with the available screen where available.
Dynamics SL is our current platform that we are migrating away from due to the lack of new features and future support. We attempted to launch with Dynamics 365 but found many screens and work flows do not work as intended. We left those project deployments and went with Acumatica as it is a trusted platform by many manufacturing companies, and it is being supported well into the future.
