Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We primarily use Acumatica for our Acounting needs, though we have just brought it into our Sales department as well. Acumatica ensures we have timely, accurate data reporting, and allows for flexibility to customize the product to our business. Modifying Generic Inquiries and reports ensures we can quickly update our reports and data analysis as needed.
Pros
- Customization of Generic Inquiries

Cons
- The AP document reader did not perform as promised. It did not learn or read documents well and we had to do as much data entry with it as we do without it.
- Report Designer is a little quirky, but very useful if you have to time to learn to use it.
- Customized reporting has drastically reduced the time spent on repetitive data analysis
- Integrating with Velixo has reduced time spent on month end close by about 40% as well as improving detection of errors and omissions
Acumatica has allowed us to capture more data that would have been lost in multiple 3rd party systems in the past, and therefore create more accurate reporting for our internal users.
We are a fishing company, we have been able to tailor Acumatica to our atypical industry by working with out consultants to customize the accounting, sales, and inventory modules to suit our needs.
