Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
I use Adobe Acrobat to create fillable forms for the company, as well as update PDF files that I do not have the original and editable files for. As a designer, I also use this software for error-free, print-ready files. The fillable forms are really helpful as it elevates the company by enabling us to provide customers and affiliates with a stress-free form that they no longer need to print to fill out.
- Creation of fillable forms
- Ability to edit PDF files
- Ability to extract certain pages in the creation of a new PDF
- Creating a form isn't totally straightforward, but that might be because I am not in Acrobat every day and don't remember the little things.
- Wish Acrobat was linked up to the Creative Cloud library.
- Wish you had a preview of a font when choosing a font face.
- Organize pages
- Edit a PDF
- Prepare a form
- Ease of Use
I have used Adobe software since I was in college, around 20 plus years ago, and I have might have a slight bias because of that, but I truly believe that Acrobat is easy to use. You do need an understanding of what you are looking to do, but I think that comes with the territory of any software that you use.
- We get more forms completed and returned to us than when they had to be printed, filled out by hand, scanned and emailed back
- There is an increase in efficiency with a form that is typed versus one that is handwritten and scanned - creates something searchable
Adobe's focus on security and compliance standards has created the ability for our form's end users to trust that their information is not going to be lost or stolen between their inbox and ours. This leads to an increase in submittals on our end as well, which is welcome.
I have used other PDF editors through the years to test them against Acrobat, but Acrobat always wins due to the amount of usable features that it offers, as well as ease of use. Aside from Reader, I don't remember the names of the other software unfortunately.
