Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

I utilize Adobe Acrobat for its ability to merge and edit documents that are needed for my day to day operations. This allows us to be able to have editable forms for staff and customers to complete which creates a more seamless process for everyone involved as it eliminates the need for printing and scanning.
The use of the signing feature is also very helpful to save time, creating a more efficient workforce.

Pros

  • It allows ease of signing documents
  • Editing documents is seamless
  • So many features that are not available in other programs

Cons

  • When a PDF becomes locked so you are unable to make any further changes.
  • The inability to sometimes be able to add a text box to a document that is not editable.
  • Sometimes the printing capabilities are not what are required.

Ease of use is always going to be a major selling point for myself and my team. We need the team to be able to jump into so many programs and systems that if they are difficult to navigate it can get quite overwhelming for everyone involved. With Adobe Acrobat, there are many ways that it teaches you the old features as well as running you through new features when updates take place.
It allows us to have accurate signatures and information provided directly from the customer that has been sent the PDF. If a customer is constantly printing, scanning and emailing documents back and forth it can create stress for them as they will question the security of their data, but with Adobe Acrobat that is not the case.

Adobe Acrobat is almost in a class of its own in the capabilities that it is able to accommodate for myself and my team. It allows for my team to have documents signed by myself and by customers when needed in a timely manner. For simple edits, it is not super needed if they can be performed in other platforms, but I will reach for Adobe Acrobat 9 times out of 10.
