Ability to create fillable forms and input information into PDFs. We often have situations where we need clients to fill out information. Adobe Acrobat provides a fillable forms feature. There are also times where we need to fill out a pre-existing fillable PDF. Adobe also facilitates our ability to do this.
I am not entirely aware of the breadth of Adobe's security and compliance standards. However, I appreciate that Acrobat Acrobat has an option to password-protect PDFs.
We considered getting PandaDoc, which seems to perform well, but the cost was ultimately not as competitive. TaxDome is a CRM for tax firms. It contains a PDF editor, available at no additional cost. Ultimately, we do plan to divest from Adobe Acrobat and use TaxDome's software instead. However, we plan to keep one or two Adobe accounts because TaxDome's PDF editor does not include a password-protect option, and we still need to utilize that feature of Acrobat.
