Ability to create fillable forms and input information into PDFs. We often have situations where we need clients to fill out information. Adobe Acrobat provides a fillable forms feature. There are also times where we need to fill out a pre-existing fillable PDF. Adobe also facilitates our ability to do this.
I am not entirely aware of the breadth of Adobe's security and compliance standards. However, I appreciate that Acrobat Acrobat has an option to password-protect PDFs.
We considered getting PandaDoc, which seems to perform well, but the cost was ultimately not as competitive. TaxDome is a CRM for tax firms. It contains a PDF editor, available at no additional cost. Ultimately, we do plan to divest from Adobe Acrobat and use TaxDome's software instead. However, we plan to keep one or two Adobe accounts because TaxDome's PDF editor does not include a password-protect option, and we still need to utilize that feature of Acrobat.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Adobe Acrobat is a top choice for editing PDFs. If you are looking for a wide range of functionality, from password-protecting documents to making documents into fillable forms, Adobe Acrobat does a good job. On the other hand, if you do not have an insanely high-powered computer, Acrobat impairs overall computer functioning and is a hassle to use in my experience.
