Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

I use Adobe Acrobat for the following:
-Document management
-Converting PDF files to Word and Word to PDF
-Redacting sensitive information to share with our suppliers.
-Editing procedure steps.
Adobe is very convenient and easy to use since the app is user friendly. It makes my job quicker and simpler.

Pros

  • Documents are easy and quick to search for
  • Converting files are quick. No need to use third party software
  • Redacting supplier names from sensitive documents to show customers

Cons

  • Licenses for each individuals are high cost
  • Too many unnecessary functions and tools that aren't used for my work
  • Too many emails from Adobe that are unrelated to my job
  • Everything is electronic and no need to decrypt other people's handwriting
  • Less mistakes and goals are easier to reach
  • Cost is straining our company budget
  • Ease of Use
Our company purchased Adobe Acrobat to save time and increase work productivity.
I don't work in the IT department so I'm unaware of the security and compliance standards that Adobe Acrobat has in my organization.
Adobe Acrobat is very comparable to Microsoft office. They share the same tools and functions.

It's well suited for companies that have a higher budget and want to give their employees an easier work balance. Things are less tedious with Adobe such as editing pdf files that don't convert to Word
