Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

I usually use Adobe Acrobat to create accessible PDFs for my classes. It makes this much easier to do than any other tool that I've encountered. As a teacher, I use a lot of digital documents for assignments, lectures, and other class information and making sure they are accessible is essential.

Pros

  • Add bookmarks
  • Make documents accessible
  • Convert documents

Cons

  • Sometimes the interface can be confusing, especially for a new user
  • Requires less time to use
  • Make documents easier to convert
  • Improved accessibility
  • Integration with Other Systems
Preview can do some basic work, but Adobe Acrobat is much more advanced in what it can do.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Adobe Acrobat is appropriate for making documents accessible and generally for converting from document to PDF or vice versa. Sometimes, I find it faster to use other methods (such as Preview) for this.
