Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

We use Adobe Acrobat DC to create PDFs into fillable forms, edit and redact information from sensitive documents, combine/organize/edit PDFs, and much more. It's a great tool for commenting and working through versions and edits. It's also nice to be able to export a PDF into a different file type.

  • Preparing fillable forms
  • Reducing the size of PDFs and exporting them as different file types
  • Once a fillable form is created, it can be time consuming and challenging to edit that fillable form when new content needs to be added
  • Sometimes the accessibility checker is not as accurate as I'd prefer - it's a useful tool nonetheless
  • Using DC to fully create a new pdf from a blank pdf can be time consuming. It would be nice if templates were built in to use.

Although I haven't used Adobe Acrobat DC on a tablet or mobile phone, I would give it a strong rating for desktop usage. It is extremely usable and doesn't ever seem to freeze up while I'm using it. I've combined hundreds of pages of PDFs before, and it functions very well. It's extremely usable and easy to navigate through all of the tools and options.
We trust Adobe Acrobat DC to redact and protect confidential information and are confident in Adobe's protection capabilities.
Canva is not necessarily a PDF editing software, but I have used it to create PDFs. It's extremely limited in its options, and I would always prefer to use Adobe Acrobat DC over Canva when it comes to creating and editing PDFs. It's not even a competition. I just do not even know what other PDF editing software exists because Adobe Acrobat DC is top-tier.

I think Adobe Acrobat DC is well suited for any size organization. The PDF is one of the most common and popular file types, and being able to quickly and easily edit them is a must for any business. I am not sure if I can think of a scenario where Adobe Acrobat DC couldn't be utilized in some type of way.
