Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

I use it to add signatures to documents and fill out forms. I instruct others on how to use it too. It's good for having all the printing specs built into the documents. I also use it to generate invoices from our eCommerce platform to send out reports from our internal servers.

  • On first open, the zoom could be optimized for the monitor.
  • It could have a coherent built-in auto tab.
  • I would prefer to double-click instead of triple-click to edit.
  • Signing documents
  • Formatted documents for printing
  • Printing out formatted documents
For most use cases, PDFs are used to read documents and print them. Double-clicking a word would be nice to be able to go into edit mode. One other device like mobile works well for scrolling. The default zoom setting is usually something I would never choose. Perhaps that would be a good study.
Since there has not been an issue with Acrobat or other Adobe products, the security standards have been well thought out. I think having the Adobe Cloud app in the system tray has probably handled all the security vulnerabilities. Our security standards are much higher than most medium-sized companies like ours.
I have used Foxit PDF reader and it appears to behave the same as Adobe Acrobat DC. I've also used OpenOffice and their suite of products is pretty good. If I were to evaluate another PDF editor, I would choose the Foxit PDF editor.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Well suited for signatures and approval processes. Not well-suited for filling out forms. It's well-suited for generating invoices so that the print format is built-in. I use automated flows to collect data and populate the pdf documents to send to our AR department. It works great for server-side generation and our internal employees can open the document in ADC.
