Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC
I use Adobe Acrobat Pro to create fillable forms for staff to use. We also use this package for staff to sign internal documents instead of a program like DocuSign. As we have been moving into electronic document storage we also use the feature of file size reduction in order to reduce the total amount of storage needed for the servers and offsite backup.
- File size reduction
- Electronic signature collection
- Form creation
- Ease of use- not very user friendly for new users
- Admin access to other users online storage of documents
- Electronic signature
- Form creation
- File size reduction
- Form creation (conversion from Word documents) is now done with a touch of a button allowing staff more time to work on other items other than recreating forms or modifying current Word documents and changing every fillable section to “overwrite” instead of insert.
- Ease of adding a “signature” field allows staff to put a signature field anywhere and everywhere one is needed.
For what our agency does this portion of the application as all of our compliance is handled by the State as everything is entered or uploaded into their system and not kept internally.
- Foxit PDF Editor (FoxitPhantom)
Adobe seemed to be more robust when we did the evaluation several years ago. I have not checked them out recently to see if things have improved or how they currently compare to Adobe
