Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

We use Acrobat DC to combine multiple PDF files into one document for bids and proposals. We use Acrobat to create forms for multiple areas in our organization from maintenance requests, to sales team engagement, to credit requests. When we were going from physical copies to digital, we were able to utilize the OCR feature to be able to edit our scanned documents.
  • Easily combine and change pages
  • Preparing forms automatically
  • Password protecting files
  • Exporting a PDF file into a Word file
  • More options to password protect certain areas/features
  • Combining files and organizing pages
  • Making forms
  • Marking/Commenting on files
  • Password protection
  • This has increased productivity by allowing the changes to be made once and then imported into InDesign
  • It has added protection to our documents so no changes are able to be made without permission
  • It has increased efficiencies through the multiple forms to be created.
I have not had any issues switching from any device. I can open up Acrobat on any device (PC, Mac, iPad, phone) and while the interface may look a little different between them, the usability is the exact same. There are some limits to what an iPad/tablet and a phone can do vs. what a PC/Mac can do however, most of the time, you do not need those functions anyway.
Knowing that Adobe has put so much into its security and compliance standards gives us peace of mind. While there is always that chance of a data breach, it is extremely unlikely that it will occur with Adobe due to the great advancements they have made in this area.

Using the comments tool to mark up PDFs is especially useful. InDesign
allows a user to import the comments made in the PDF directly into the
InDesign file. Providing that the markups were done accurately, InDesign
will automatically make those changes, saving the user a lot of time.
The user only will have to inform others how to properly use the
comments tool in Acrobat.
