Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

Marketing uses Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to edit automatically generated PDFs quickly. Previously, we wouldn't be able to use the automatically generated PDFs and would have to create a word document template, edit the document and then save it as a PDF. Now we can save a few steps by using this tool.
  • E-signatures
  • Easy to use
  • Ability to convert to Word documents
  • Adding some design functionality, so it is a little easier to "pretty up" before sending a document for signatures.
  • Would be nice to collaborate with others like you can in Word.
  • Viewing PDFs
  • Signature capabilities
  • Converting to and from PDFs
  • We print less as most files can be shared digitally.
  • The program can be a bit expensive depending on the number of people you have using it.
I do wish that the editing function was a little easier in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. But, if you are looking for many display options, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC has a ton! You can make the file larger, smaller, one page, multiple pages, scrolling, and more. These functions are easy to use within the program.
The security and compliance areas of this program are something that we as an organization are just starting to work with. Once I have had a little more time with that, I will be able to comment.
We were not comparing Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to EasePDF; that is just another tool that I have used in the past. I do like that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is within the Adobe product line as I use most of the other tools that they offer as well.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is great for final drafts and documents that require a signature. I would not suggest Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for teams or people that are looking to work on a draft and edit the document before it is finalized. There isn't much you can do for editing on the current platform.
