Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Experience Manager

We use Adobe Experience Manager for our unauthenticated website for our prospects. We constantly need to update and refresh the content for our marketing to these prospects.

Pros

  • Quick refresh of content without development team elevation
  • Easy management of assets
  • Shared content

Cons

  • Sharing of content across instances can be a challenge
  • More insight into how to improve SEO performance
  • Faster time to market for changes
  • Higher level of user interaction with our pages
Once set up, it is fairly easy to use. It allows for multiple roles within your organization to make changes.
  • Core components have allowed for more consistent experience on our site
  • Ability to customize core components as needed to enrich the UX
  • Centralized asset management has helped sharing across teams

Do you think Adobe Experience Manager delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Experience Manager's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Experience Manager live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Experience Manager go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Experience Manager again?

Yes

If you have content that you need to refresh frequently, it does a great job. It allows for testing of various UX approaches to figure out the best options. While not a bad option, static content that doesn't change would be a case where this might be overkill.
