Adobe Express gets a double thumbs up.
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Express
I am a digital Content creator who uses it daily to create daily social media posts for our nonprofit. It allows for our communications team of 3 to work together to create the content we need to put out. The shared scheduling calendar was a total game changer for our teams workflow. It also allows our newer intern to get familiar with the Adobe suite as a whole instead of throwing her into illustrator or InDesign right out the gate.
Pros
- Shared Calendar
- Scheduler
- Audio selection
- CC libraries integration
- Asset library
Cons
- An ability to edit and approve social media posts in the scheduler by higher ups before they go out. We currently have to use a third party for this.
- Audio is always so loud, especially for social media.
- YouTube shorts would be an amazing addition to social media options.
- Positive: Time and working for a nonprofit with minimal staff this is essential.
- Negative: There are certain features that I need to find in other Adobe products like layer masking.
- Positive: It makes content creation less intimidating for our newer staff.

Our team was avid Canva users for 2 years prior to switching over to Adobe Express. I found Adobe Express to be much more user friendly and less complicated visually. I also LOVE the CC libraries integration. That was a game changer for our creative department. It made making content across the Adobe suite SEEMLESS! I would never go back and encourage people all the time to move away from Canva. Although I do wish Adobe offered a free Adobe Express account for nonprofits like they do for students and educators. Canva has the upper hand there.
