Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Express

I am a solopreneur graphic designer / art director and I use Adobe Express for me and my clients :for my own business, I use it for creating my social medias posts, and I use it to create templates for my design clients so they can use on their own social medias account

Pros

  • templates creation
  • integration with other Adobe software
  • very easy to use

Cons

  • video features limited
  • some crash sometimes
  • quality of the designs for the templates could be improved
  • time saving though personalized brand template
  • easy to use and teach to clients
  • easy to plan your posts through the social media calendar
This is a tough one! I have been using Adobe Express for 3 years and I see how much improvements they have had. I think they have a lot of choices, but I still think a lot of the designs are not so aligned with the actual trends. I don't mind because I mostly do my own designs, but I can see how they can miss a few points here for a certain audience who look for polished clean trendy designs. For the other assets though it is great and there are endless options of photos, illustrations, and even the integration of AI is powerful
I think it is a great tool for non designers because it is so easy to use and templates are a great starting point. For professional designers, it can be super limited, but the way I use it is, I still create my designs in Illustrator and then I import them as templates in Adobe Express, and this is actually awesome.
The resizing feature is incredible and works like magic, it is super valuable for content creation, I don't really use the effects so much but for what I have tried it is super easy and straightforward, you can even add some video movement to objects to add some animation to your posts, this is incredibly quick and easy to do, without the pain of going through after effects software
I think they all have a different target audience and a different use for them. I love crafting posts with Figma but i think the "Figma look" is a bit cold and super recognizable for my taste. I think creating something with Illustrator still gives me the most options in terms of creativity, and adobe express allows me to integrate everything flawlessly.

Do you think Adobe Express delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Express's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Express live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Express go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Express again?

Yes

I would recommend it 100% to someone who already has an Adobe cloud subscription, as the integration between all the Adobe tools is just so seamless. It feels useless to go through Canva when you have access to all functionality here. I think it is also more professional for designer to have a process through an Adobe workflow, than Canva, that is great but more used by amateurs
