Overall Satisfaction with Adobe InDesign

At my company, I use InDesign to design and stylize long documents for my company and any other projects that I am working on. It is used in our department and by those who work in a design-related role. It allows us to standardize any official documents such as contracts, decks, pitches, etc.

I have used almost all of the programs that Adobe Creative Cloud has to offer. However, InDesign is one of the better ones. It is the industry standard for long-document preparation, editing, and exporting. The possibilities are endless in this program when working in an editorial setting or drafting up an e-book for the web. Those are functions that not many other products, let alone Adobe products, can do.
I give Adobe such a high rating because Adobe is unmatched in creating tools for designers that may need a plethora of different options. InDesign is geared to make templating and formatting easy enough to optimize workflows in a professional or personal setting. I highly recommend this product to any designer or anybody interested in design.

InDesign is well suited for working on long documents while it is less appropriate to work on short documents/one-off designs. If you are looking to design and be creative by making graphics, perhaps it would be easier to complete this task in a different Adobe product (Illustrator/Photoshop) and then import it into InDesign. Adobe products work seamlessly together if you know how to use each one.
