Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Marketo Engage

we use it for outreach and campaigns across our target account list alongside campaigns that the SDR’s run on a 1:1 basis

Pros

  • Real time insights to performance
  • Lead prioritization via scoring
  • Nurture campaigns
  • Attribution

Cons

  • Not user friendly for those inexperienced
  • Difficult to initially implement
  • Being able to speak to the lead journey has helped us better map what is marketing attributed versus sales attributed, and therefore has increased our marketing attributed pipeline numbers where otherwise we would not have counted certain opportunities as marketing sourced
  • Having campaigns run in the background for the SDR while they work thier one-to-one programs has decreased the amount of touch points in SDR needs to book a meeting.

it helps us prioritize high intent, leads over leads that are not worth reaching out to at the present time. we use it in our CRM for lead scoring, and that feeds what our SDR’s are focusing on for any given day. we also really appreciate the campaign attribution and journey for each prospect that math directly onto the lead or contact record. Running, nurture campaigns out of Adobe Marketo Engage are pretty easy once you can figure out how to do it. ultimately, we like to run it in tandem with one to one campaigns that the SDR’s do on a different platform.
