Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Photoshop

It is used for photo editions, mostly when needed to create graphic materials for papers, to correct light and contrast, to delete the background in images or add text information. The graphic design department uses it also when creating mockup materials for brands. It is very useful to present more realistic images of brands applied to materials, such as packaging, bags, business cards and posters.
  • Image processing
  • To create photorealistic renderings
  • Mockups of materials for brands
  • The interaction with other Adobe software could improve, such as Illustrator and Premiere
  • The pen tool resource could be more intuitive
  • Automatic background removal could be a feature
  • It allows us to have more realistic reproductions of objects before production.
  • Improves the graphic quality of papers.
  • Avoids extra costs of remaking photos that can be retouched.
I never really needed to use customer support, but when it comes to tutorials and stuff there are a lot of materials available online.

Do you think Adobe PhotoShop delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe PhotoShop's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe PhotoShop live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe PhotoShop go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe PhotoShop again?

Yes

The best use of Adobe Photoshop is related to image processing, including mockups, creating textures and general adjustments to photos (deleting details, correcting skin or cleaning the scenario). It is less appropriate to use Photoshop when creating infographics, adjusting data graphs, mind maps, or to create graphic materials that require vector illustration and/or diagrams.
