Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Photoshop

I use Photoshop for image retouching which is my own initiative. It makes my work that much stronger. Even though it is not a primary software tool for most designers in a role similar to mine I personally find that it gives me an edge in my work.
  • Image retouching.
  • Basic animations.
  • Color testing for accessibility purposes.
  • Better integration with UX tools.
  • Have commonly used features more prominent.
  • The ability to give images of the different quality same look and feel and create presets to do it fast.
  • Photoshop, however, is complicated to use so it is not easy to introduce new users to it.
  • I like the ability to utilize it for any web functionality.
Photoshop is my go-to tool and the only one I use. So for that reason, I am not able to provide examples of any other software that I used which could be similar in function to Photoshop. Other software I use is completely different than Photoshop.
I have not used Photoshop to help. Whenever I need help, I search for user-generated videos on youtube. I find that to be more helpful to me and usually those videos get to the point very quickly and describe only what I am looking for as opposed to covering a feature at length.

Do you think Adobe PhotoShop delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe PhotoShop's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe PhotoShop live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe PhotoShop go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe PhotoShop again?

Yes

Photoshop is the only tool I use for retouching. It can be used for simple tasks as well as complex tasks. I wish there was a way to have it be linked to Sketch or other UX applications.
