Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The payroll department utilizes SmartCompliance for employment taxes and wage payments. It is only used by the payroll department but benefits the entire organization by ensuring compliance with various local, state and federal regulations. All functions performed through SmartCompliance were handled manually by the payroll department prior to our partnership with ADP. This is an invaluable tool for our department.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Real time employment tax obligations
Easy to use steps for agency notices. Excellent record keeping and follow up
Easy to use "stop payment" for wage payments issued

Cons

Currently we have 2 separate websites t log into for wage payments and employment taxes - would love to see all features of wage payments integrated with SmartCompliance

Return on Investment

Reduces the amount of manual work that used to be required by our payroll department
Enables our department to manage compliance, minimize risk and liability and adapt to new regulations quickly and efficiently

SmartCompliance is easy to use and contains every feature I would expect for handling our employment taxes.

Consolidation of Wage Payments activities into ADP SmartCompliance has been in active development and we are very near being able simplify this experience for you, eliminating the need to log into multiple systems.
