Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

I use Alphasense as my main research tool for recent company news, earnings transcripts, and analyst reports. This helps me compile reports, summaries, and emails that I can share with executives to keep them updated on trends and competitor moves. I find Alpha Sense easy to use, and it's been consistently getting better.

Pros

  • Sentiment analysis.
  • Broad list of investor reports.
  • Good search functionality.

Cons

  • Overall UX.
  • Sometimes search within a document doesn't work.
  • Sometimes slow to load pages.
  • Deeper competitive insights.
  • Efficiency gain.
  • Broader content source.
Overall good as I have been using the platform for a couple of years, and so I am used to the current UX experience, but it definitely can be improved to make it more usable for those not familiar with it. Overall, I find it easy to navigate. No major complaints.
Probably the most significant tool that has helped my team become more aware of developments in our market has been the ability to see what analysts are saying about a specific company or a set of companies in space. Most recently, with the introduction of the expert call functionality, this has been even further enhanced.
Pretty similar, AlphaSense indeed bought them.

Track specific companies (competitors, customers, new tech, etc.) on a variety of topics such as earnings, investors' sentiment, commentary, IP filings, and general press releases. Alphasense also provides other additional tools, such as expert calls which is particularly helpful in the discovery phase (for a product or new market- or really just to see what your customers are thinking).
