Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense
I use Alpha Sense to diligence stocks and keep up to date with the latest analyst research and company news. It has the best interface for looking up specific things about a company (i.e. can immediately narrow your search for recent research/news, etc., based on a certain aspect of the business, and has saved us a lot of time.
Pros
- Search for specific things within a company.
- Aggregate sell-side research.
- Summarize earnings calls.
Cons
- Valuation section - i.e., adding multiples for companies.
- Including company webcasts to the site to add another element.
- It has saved time as we look for specific aspects of our investment thesis.
I can easily log on and see if there was any new company research posted overnight for my coverage universe, which has saved me a lot of time in my mornings.
I think it lacks valuation sections and comprehensiveness, but I think it's specific qualitative search capabilities are better.
