Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense
Primarily for industry and company-level research, valuation comparables, and market insights. Our clients are typically private middle-market companies (both PE-backed and family/founder-owned) across a variety of different industries. Our junior-level personnel are generalist/agnostic, so oftentimes, we will use AlphaSense to educate ourselves on a particular industry or sector. I personally utilize the Notes, Dashboard, and Alerts functions, which I find to be very helpful.
- Curating relevant research.
- Organizing notes and content.
- Pinpointing exact references to search terms / details within a document.
- Aggregating helpful summaries.
- Listing comparable companies.
- Mapping certain workflows.
- Making it easier to exclude certain search results (e.g., geographies, industries, etc.)
- Enabling more collaboration within internal teams / organizations.
- Enables efficiency/productivity.
- Alleviates certain tasks that are tedious.
- Added confidence.
- Comprehensive / broader content sources.
It does just that. I hadn't used AlphaSense before but now it is one of my go-to (if not leading) platforms for surfacing data and insights. The more I use it, the more powerful/useful I think it is.
